Announced during Inside Xbox but officially confirmed for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, sci-fi title Chorus: Rise As One is a space combat shooter coming from developer Fishlabs and publisher Deep Silver. “Take control of Nara, once the Circle’s deadliest warrior, now their most wanted fugitive, on a quest to destroy the dark cult that created her,” the press release reads.
There’s a little snippet of gameplay in the video embedded above, but it’s mostly a mood piece. The title’s promising “a dark new universe, teeming with mystery that balances the scale and spectacle of exploration with fast-paced action”.

Wow that Xbox stream was super underwhelming!
Finally a space shooter/simulator! I was afraid the only game like that would be Everspace in this gen!
Definitely interested!
@Icey664 BUH ... BUH BUH 12 TFLOPS BUH BUH BUH!!
@Icey664 Yeah, it was rubbish. Although better than Cerny's GDC speech.
I'm looking forward to this
This does look pretty cool, looking forward to seeing extended gameplay without cutscenes
All of this next gen stuff is...disappointing. Nothing seemed particularly interesting.
Also that Vampire 2 game looked like it was PS3 era lmao
@get2sammyb That's true!
@get2sammyb The thing here is that Cerny's GDC speech was a tech speech meant for hardcore developers, not for the average consumer... This is different, this was supposed to be our first look to next-gen games, this showcase was supposed to be tailored to your average consumer, and... it didn’t deliver at all (no cool game announcements either), which I think it is worse. Honestly, after looking at the LoU2 trailer last night and how excellent it looks, nothing here really pops at all. That game looks ten times more next-gen, than the actual next-gen games shown today. Ghost of Tsushima looks more next-gen than any of the games shown today as well.
Chorvs looks pretty interesting. Reminds me of Starlink, but dark and with more of a AAA flavor to it.
@get2sammyb
Hard disagree. Cerny speech was more fun
@JJ2 @get2sammyb I don't know, Cerny ASMR still felt like it had more value than the stream - we learned more about next-gen in it at least. Though we're arguing over which misfire imploded more lol.
And honestly, this game looks edgy, but not a good way, in a too much kinda stupid way.
The event was fine (showcasing a bunch of mostly smaller AA titles that would normally never get this kind of attention. Bright Memory Infinite is being made by a single guy for heaven's sake), it was just RIDICULOUSLY mismarketed. If they had advertised it as a next-gen indie game showcase with a few bonus AAA cinematic trailers instead of being a "gameplay reveal" it would have been pretty great tbh. (AA games just don't get enough attention). But by getting everyone's expectations all out of wack, they shot themselves in the foot. That said, if you're expecting PS5 launch titles to look fundamentally beyond what is currently possible on current gen hardware, you should get your expectations in check ASAP and go look at some PS4 launch titles again (which were basically just shinier PS3 games).
