God of War’s back in stock at Amazon UK, after being unavailable for several weeks now. The title was one of many Sony exclusives unavailable at the online retailer, and despite Kratos’ latest being restocked, you still can’t pre-order upcoming titles like Spider-Man or Detroit: Become Human from the store.
Over in America, where PlayStation Network codes were unavailable for almost a day before returning, God of War’s still out of stock – although you can purchase a digital download code from the site instead. We’ve contacted Sony a couple of times about these issues, but we’re yet to get a comment back. Hopefully things will begin to improve from here on out.

Feel like it's a stock price issue then. Maybe Amazon wants a discount on ordering so many copies and Sony isn't budging?
All speculation though.
Too bad Amazon ditched launch day discounts on new games, eh?
I think Amazon were holding out for something more from Sony, but had to blink first as they realised what a huge seller God of War will be, and none going into Amazon's pocket unless they relented.
Other retailers must be enjoying this!
If you are in the US I can't recommend the Best Buy Gamers Club enough. Not only do they have discounts on pre-orders but older games as well. Do you guys have Best Buy overseas?
Does this have anything to do with the Pre-orders being fullfileld? Because if it’s a business deal and that’s the case, that would have to back down for this this or deal a big blow to the trust of maybe 100,000 customers if that’s a reasonable Amazon preorder number overall.
@Splat +1 this. They discount $60 games to $48, $40 games to $32, $30 games to $24, $25 games to $20, and $20 games to $16 etc.
I plan on renewing my $30 two year Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked membership when it expires Fall 2019.
