Darksiders Brays onto North American PlayStation Plus

Apocalyptic addition

THQ may be on the cusp of commercial collapse, but that’s not stopping the publisher from giving away complimentary copies of the original Darksiders to North American PlayStation Plus subscribers. Assuming you’re a member, you’ll be able to grab the title for free from later today. Other goodies include a 50 per cent saving on the solid Stardrone: Extreme, making the PlayStation Vita puzzler just $2.00.

January has already seen the addition of NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, Mega Man 9, and Mega Man 10 to the Instant Game Collection. Are you happy with the offering so far? Let us know in the comments section below.

Now this is the PS+ I have come to know and love. I have been a bit disappointed with the last few weeks but this makes up for it.

Fortunately I already played this game when it came out 3 years ago so I don't care that my PS+ subscription ended last week. When I first saw it I thought it was for 2 which came out 5 months ago and I was going to sign back up.

On the bright side I just got a 30 day free trial for the EU PS+ from Facebook -

so I FINALLY get to play Motorstorm:Apocalypse and Vanquish.

FYI - this worked for me in the US on my UK account, it even took my US Visa card which was surprising as I don't think it's supposed to do that. My UK address (some hotel on Bath street near Heathrow) was autopopulated so that probably helped. Darksiders is currently in the UK PS+ store if anybody wants to try it for free.
