Part 3 - Graphics

PS2, best graphics? It came out a year and half later than the Dreamcast, and although it was technically more powerful, it looked like vaseline smushed on your TV.....not to mention that the Xbox came out a year and a half after the PS2 and wiped the floor with it in terms of power. It was only late in its lifespan where the gap between the PS2 and Dreamcast became pretty evident, and even then, the Dreamcast still often gives out a superior image in terms of clarity.

PS2 will be remembered for its game library, not it's graphics.

SNES was pretty ace for its time despite having a crippling slow CPU which caused a lot of slowdown or limited aspects of some games (such as number of enemies on screen at once). In terms of colors and sprites on screen it was superior to the Genesis.

PS2 had some great visuals for its day - God of War 2, Ratchet and Clank, Jak 3, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy X, Zone of the Enders 2, Gran Tourismo 4, ICO and Shadow of the Colusses, Black, Silent Hill 3, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Burnout 3 etc etc...

I kind of agree though the PS2 was bettered by the cube and xbox visually, although it did well with the obscure Japanese realeases. MGS 3, FFX and Pes were as good as anything on those systems mind (but I doubt fzero gx or Halo could be done on the PS2)

PS1 - 3 - Compared to 16bit computers this literally blew everything away at the time
Snes - 1 - Mode 7 and colours
Dreamcast - 1 - Crazy Taxi on a TV!
