Can you guys interested in a pet thread create one? I'm sure I'm gonna choose the wrong section or misspell the title or write an introduction full of mistakes... That would mean eternal shame!
Part of me loves Hitman, but part of me thinks it's the worst thing to ever happen.
The loading times are terrible for a game that begs to be played and replayed over and over. Also: this is a game that requires a way to manual quick save.
And, adding to the frustrations today: why do you need to have an internet connection to complete offline challenges, which are the main way of making progress within an episode. This is a single player game.
The game is great, but the 'quality of life's of this game is below zero. Fix it for Hitman 2, or I'm not getting it.
@Kidfried As you know, I have nothing but sympathy, after my recent rant about the game when the IO servers went down for three hours on the very evening I wanted to play.
I'll be waiting to see whether Hitman 2 does indeed fix things, before making a purchase. If I find anything out ahead of any major headlines on the subject, I'll tag you and let you know.

@Kidfried@RogerRoger That's probably my biggest gripe with the game too. I'm really enjoying it, but the loading times aren't great - even flicking between pages in a menu. You can manually save but I agree that a hotkey to allow for quick saving would be a godsend for Hitman.
@Quintumply@Kidfried Those manual saves are stored on the Hitman servers; if you try to access them whilst playing offline, they read as "unobtainable" and it's why they can sometimes take forever to actually register the save with the little flashy barcode icon in the bottom-right. As somebody who uses a lot of manual saves on Hitman levels, I reckon it's an unforgivable method of data management. Maybe in ten or fifteen years, when internet infrastructure is a universal constant, but not in today's world of server drop-outs, connection loss and rural obscurity.

@KratosMD Hear hear (not so much about the consoles; I'm sorry to hear it's playing havoc with your various systems, although I have noticed my PS4 Pro has started to sound like a jet engine for the first time, mostly when using Photo Mode on Uncharted 4, a particularly hardware-taxing endeavour).
I'm dreaming of a grey autumn, just like the ones we Brits all know (lyrics from the less-successful follow-up to White Christmas, right there).

Encountered a Fallout bug in which your main character says "Hey Dejen" to anyone she meets, regardless of who it is. Bethesda, you're truly masters of dumb bugs.
