Not connecting to my account via PS4, works on the desktop store login. Won't even let me use flipping TV apps even though I'm connected to internet, what a joke. PSN network issue website says all is running fine, well it ain't.
Are you using two factor authentication? Have you tried the network test from the PS4 itself? Are you using wireless or wired?

Junk, I think it must be the router, never mind. Doesn't make sense though because it downloaded the Destiny 2 Beta whilst it decided to log me out and lock me out.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi i have had a few issues and it was because something was interfering with the PS4 wireless signal (i later found out it was my brothers XB1) so try turning off some other things connected to your wireless network and see if that helps

PSN is working like a heaping pile of manure today. I started downloading Ys: Memories of Celceta on my PSTV over two hours ago and it still has 975 minutes to go with 24 MB downloaded out of 785 MB...FACEPALM
It's been working fine for me. The only problems I ever have is being kicked out of the store (and then it re-loading) about 4-5 times in just a single small time period...at least the store is not as slow and kicks you out as much as it does on the PS3 though.
Other than that, and back to your topic, no, it's probably just your internet. Mine slows down if a storm is overhead or heavy rain, which causes the PS4 to run slow, so it could be the solution for you too. Better luck for you!!
