i am currently a lvl 29 Warlock, I hit it yesterday. Once you hit lvl 28 and have beaten the raid before it just a matter of luck of the draw and knowing where loot chest are located in the so you can get raid gear.
Surely I am not he only one that realizes that the console has been out for less than a year? I am okay with current staples of games. I just wish that new games coming out by new developers would stop calling themselves "indie". It is unnecessary as of right now since anyone can come out with new game.
I was so pissed when when I heard that Sony only showed indies but then I went to watch the recorded version of the stream and found out that most of these titles that were called "indies" didn't have that indie feel... it felt like games coming from a new developer trying to showcase their talents (like most games on the PS2) and most of the games show at the press conference were amazing. I really need to stop reading Youtube comments
Just wait. I am not putting much stock on these numbers because Japan doesn't really have a game the want to key on. I would wait for after the release of Final Fantasy XV to see how the console sells in it's home country.
I wasn't sold on Destiny from the E3 footage and commercials but I got quickly accepted into the alpha. The Alpha was a blast. Probably the best game I have played since ME3 or Sleeping Dogs( whatever came out last). Everything in this game screams amazing, from is gameplay to it's graphics. It's just really fun
But it is the game did choose a nice place to come out since not a lot of "AAA" games come out during the Summer, or any other decent game(strictly console speaking, because of Steam Summer Sale)
If this is coming around April June 2014 then I highly doubt that "The Division" is coming out by the end of 2014. I am not even sure if I can look forward to this game. I wasn't as interested in Watchdogs as everyone else was but with these massive setbacks I am just wait a week or two after the game is release to see if I would pick it up. But "The Division" I am looking forward too.
I am still surviving as of now for 50 days. This game is ridiculously addicting and it is one of the closest games to being Minecraft but it is it own thing which I like since I dislike playing Minecraft.
The problem is just stock availability. i just walked into a random Walmart yesterday and the had one Xbox One for sale but no PS4. PS4 is selling in 48 territories while the Xbox One is in only 13. If Sony and Microsoft are making their new consoles at the same pace Microsoft console should be seen more in different places than Sony's console
Man I am just sad that I don't personally own a PS3 but I do own a PS4. When Black Friday rolled around and they were sell a year of PS Plus for $30, I bought 2 years worth for ONLY $60 and I now have PS Plus till 2015. All these free games.... I only hope Gaikai works as promise, luckily I do have a friend who can benefit from all the free games so they don't go to waste.
@BarrettJChris if you are a PS Plus Member it is free on PSN. I bought 2 years of PS Plus on black friday on Amazon and it cost me 60 dollars so far it has already paid for it self.
@MadchesterManc I understand games are subjective even more than movies or TV shows because games are interactive entertainment, but I don't like when people become close minded when a fact is pointed out. That is all I had to say in my previous comment.
I never thought or would think my opinion is superior than your opinion or any other opinion for that matter. You said the Halo 2 and Halo 4 sucked, I don't have a problem if you disliked the game but don't engage in hyperbole that can mistaken in a toneless as a comment board.
Halo 2 is has a 95 on metacritic and Halo 4 has an 85 on metacritic, so engaging negative hyperbole puts an opinion as factual incorrect. I just don't want people to be closed minded and use hyperbole. I am not a big Halo fan I just like good games and the Halo series has made some very good games, so when I say the hyperbole I commented on why it was wrong and come of as close mindedness. You may have not meant it that way and if you didn't I apologize, but you need to be careful of using hyperboles in a toneless place like an internet comment board.
@PMasterTy9 I don't care about if anyone downtalks Halo. You down talk it as long as you like. Just bring up valid points to back it up and don't engage in hyperbole. In my last I said that comment boards are typical a toneless place and tone is interpreted by the reader of the comment. When you engage in hyperbole people tend to get mis-skewed in different direction depending on there stance on the subject at hand.
It an opinion is never wrong because it is your opinion, your take on something, but on a message with no tone and amenity, your opinion can be taken as whatever reader thinks it is to them. So using words like, sucks or blows etc, can strong effect even if you didn't mean it in a strong way.
Like take ViciousDS comment for example, shows an excellent example of an opinion comment. Show what he liked or dislike and brought up what he thought without engaging in hyperbole so it be taken with a face value comment. A use valid perspective of the game that universally known by anyone who has played the game before.
I understand some games in game series aren't as great or as good as others but don't engage in hyperbole when comparing games in major franchises. For example I didn't like AC3 or AC:Revelations as much AC2 and AC:Brotherhood. Now with hyperbole. Man I hate AC3 or AC: Revelations. They sucked compared AC2 and AC:Brotherhood. You tell me which one will gather a strong response despite both of them technically meaning the same thing?
@MadchesterManc Then go and replay the story on Normal see why it I see that way. Also I am not butthurt over anything I am just tired of see such ridiculousness in comments about games.
Internet comment boards are a toneless place which every comment is given tone to whoever is reading it. As you did with my comment, when it actually suppose to be taken as someone who is tired of see negativity for any game that is good( hence why I use Game#X and Game#Y instead of specifically point just Halo).
I am telling you right now I don't like the update that they added to Halo 4 multiplayer to rebalance the guns but people adjust and problems typical disappear after a while.
What I am really tired of is close minded groups on the internet that can complain on message boards when in the real world it isn't like that at all; yet the group doesn't ever just accepts that fact. Take CoD for example, on internet gaming boards.." it is horrible... the game should just stop being made... same rehashed **** every year..." Yet it has been the top video game sold for 4 years. Why? Because people like playing it. It is just that simple. The gameplay is simple enough to jump in and have fun yet complex enough to have a competitive side to it.
So take my word for it I am not butthurt or whatever you kids wanna call it I just tired of close mindedness on gaming boards.
Also before you call me an FPS fanboy, My favorite game series are Mass Effect and Jak and Daxter, just so you don't take my words for something they aren't.
Man I am so sick and tired of hearing "ohh after Game#x the series went downhill from there or game#y sucked the most in the series" I am surprised most devs don't pull a Phil Fish move and just jump out of the gaming world when they hear this type of negativity. It is like hearing that 3~5 yrs of your life was just stupid wasted time.
Halo is a damn good series and Bungie created something amazing which opened the door to some amazing story fps titles ( such as BioShock) Halo was good, Halo 2 was good, Halo 3 was good, and Halo:Reach was good. I went back to replay these just for their story and it is amazing how it all unfolds out. Also 343 did a bang up job with Halo 4. I replayed it with my little brother a few weeks ago, and man when I tell you there was a manly tear shed when Chief lost Cortana. Story was excellent, the graphics superb(way better than any Halo to date), and gameplay was like a new breath of fresh air into the Halo series.
Bungie hasn't shown me that will they disappoint and good on Sony to get the early jump into the new franchise. I hope it treats Sony as well or even better than when Sony partner with Ubisoft for Assassin's Creed.
Man, I like a lot of what was presented at GamesCom. The introduction with the simple presentation of the new PS4 UI looks amazing(I am kinda hoping to put up different wallpapers to switch between different menus just like the Vita) The announcement of AAA indie games for the Vita, for example Minecraft. How good Killzone multiplayer looked and Knack gameplay, which remind me a lot of playing Jak 2/Jak 3 and Crash Bandicoot. Last but not least the comment by Yoshida stated that they still have the luxury of not having to reveal everything in production for the PS4. Hopefully this means there is not to much dead time in between release of good games in the near future.
I really don't see why this game won't be one of the leaders in the PS4 launch it could actually be the 2nd or maybe even 1st leader just by default. This game screams out to me my childhood and is similar to "Crash" and "Jak and Daxter".
This is made for every type of gamer ranging from old to the very important "NEW". The same way Sack boy became a mascot for Playstation 3 is a similar way. It has a cartoonish art style and gameplay that will be very enticing for kids and parents when they go shopping for the PS4 during Christmas Holiday.
This game will sell just by default and when people realise that it is actually good then maybe the devs will make a sequel, depending on the story of course.
It isn't a late, it is in the perfect placement for for it in the U.S and probably Europe. You seem to forget that most of the preorders that are being sold out are the ones mainly online. The placement of Nov 15 gives the people who hardcore gamers exactly two weeks to have their fun with their consoles and show it off to their friends and family during the Thanksgiving Holiday which also includes "Black Friday" also known as the biggest shopping day of the year in the U.S. A lot of stuff gets sold out during this day so PS4(if it doesn't have enough product to sell) will easily have back fall to get stuff up around Dec when people go Christmas shopping. For the Europe it might be a late, but considering that there is a strong PlayStation following that include with the price compared to the Xbox One they don't have anything to majorly worry about.
I have been replaying Dishonored, a very fun game. I am gonna go off the edge here and start killing people from the beginning for the first time...... hehehehe
Unfortunately I don't have a Playstation product in my hands at the moment so I am play the indie game State of Decay very funny and addictive if you want everything to run smoothly in a zombie apocalypse.
I hope this game can find its way to PS4 because I don't have a PS3 and my friend who did has moved away. I have never seen such an amount unified perfect scores across the internet. It is mind boggling on how good the game may actually be and also scary :/
@get2sammyb If Sony does go down the route of DRM here is what I propose they do:
1.) The "new" game should be tethered to your account and your console. This allows you to play it on any console and permits other accounts on that console access to play it on the tethered console.
2.) Should you bring your game disc to a friends house odds are that they are on friends lists on your PSN account, meaning any friend you have on your friend's list can play the game, like if you lend it to them etc. ( this is only for physical copies of the games, game discs, not digital downloads) Optional For digital downloads you allow access to 3~5 people on your friends access to your game if you are to download it on their console( this could also can also be timed like 1~2 hours of playing time)
3.) The fee for a used game pass( unlimited access to the game for however long you own, only if purchased before you own it and rules 1, 2, and 4 don't apply to you) should be at 5 bucks (yup microtransactions). This gives people the idea, "...ehhh it only 5 bucks it won't hurt....", the thought process that it is inexpensive to buy games used still because of a 5 dollar increase (the jump from 20 dollars to 25 isn't gonna break the bank in the minds of the parents and gamers alike) Optional Ten dollars is the maximum this can go to, anymore and it is looked at like money grubbing.
4.) If you are a PS Plus Member, you are completely exempted from the used game pass fee. PS Plus are already paying a monthly subscription to Sony for a premium service add this to the service. It will increase the number of PS Plus memberships while showing off the increased benefits of being a PS Plus member, 10%~75% off games free timed trials of first-party games, and free game downloads. In the long run this would be something people look forward to getting to get rid of used passes and get extra bonuses on the side ( aka tight waded parents and gamers). Optional When PS plus service runs out on an account the used game fee could be brought up for the last used game bought.
These are my original suggestions, please comment if you have anything you like or dislike about it (other than the length of it).
