@nessisonett America does have laws like that, but I think this case would be considered "vertical integration." Funimation primarily produces content, whereas Crunchyroll primarily streams licensed third-party content. Funimation does offer its own streaming service, but that would be like saying Ford can't acquire Sears because they both have storefronts.
Just as a general FYI, this patent is basically the ability to put the heatsink below the CPU instead of the traditional on top. It seems odd, but perhaps the intent is to have TWO heatsinks, one on top and one on the bottom?
I generally frown upon the idea of acquisitions, but they've intentionally stagnated their own games development to the point that the best thing that could happen to the company is be purchased by someone actually interested in games.

@Voltan The PS5 version includes the PS4 version, so my take is that a lot of gamers were being smart and future-proofing their copies.
