Got this one too. For me, if the traversal in an open world is fun, then that's half the battle. This, Sunset Overdrive(Which I hope they bring to PS5), Saints Row IV, Arkham City. I actually love all those games I just named, but even if the game is bad, fun traversal around an open world can make it better.
Despite how much I loved this, haven't played Miles or 2 yet, because my understanding of the general consensus is that it's not that good. But maybe I'm wrong about that. I'm definitely going to play it eventually.
Wasn't affected by this at all, because despite the original being one of my favorite games of all time, I know better than to believe a story about fans 'feeling like' the game is about to come out.
Milano Odd Job Collection is also coming out on the 9th, and for some reason I've been thinking about this game since I saw it mentioned here. I'm definitely going to give it a try.
I almost pre-ordered a bunch of times, even last night, I have 40+ dollars on my wallet and in my mind that’s like free money(even though it isn’t) and so didn’t mind paying the full 70. I really loved cyber sleuth, so this was lowkey my most anticipated game. Now I’m not sure.
Still may get it this week, but waiting might be the better move, like it always is.
Gotta say the title pissed me off, because ai thought this was going to be some crazy Capcom crossover, but it’s just a game that purports to be just like them.
Well that kinda bothers me, because I've had no interest in Silksong, no offense to the game, might be a masterpiece but I haven't even played the original yet, but was actually quite excited for DemonSchool.
Maybe they're just saying that so they can polish the game more. Either way, I can wait until November.
The beauty of a single player game having bad business practices is that A. It will definitely go on sale at some point B. You can feel morally upright about not paying full price C. You don't have to worry about the game being shut down like a multiplayer game.
When a company does something like this, it really just forces the consumer to wait to buy it and feel good about it.
Good, nice to get some more content to my favorite ultra-specific genre "game with unusual mechanics, which stars a goddess who uses her powers to fight demons and purify nature" which also features Okami and Sakuna: Of Rice & Ruin, two of my favorite games of all time.
I've bought every SuperGiant Game and have been a fan since Bastion. Pyre, Hades, & Transistor would probably all make my list of favorite games of all time. I get why they have to do it, but seflishly I'm annoyed that once again I have to wait while everyone else gets their hands on their new game, before the platform I play on. It's the same way I felt with Hades 1
I've literallly been waiting all year for this reveal, and purposefully haven't gotten a ps5 yet exactly for this reason. I'm torn, mainly because of the disc drive, because since I never got the original, I was prepared to pay the full price for the upgraded better version, but now I'm not sure.
The crazy is that 99% of my games are digital, and I almost never go into gamestop anymore, but I'd still like the option, and I don't want to pay more for the option. I'll think about it, but after this year of waiting, I might just get the original or the slim

Never played the original, always wanted to. . . but Jonathan Blow is a bad guy so this is one of the few indie games I didn't buy on principle. Haven't played The Witness for the same reason.

Re: Black Ops 7 Dominates PS5 Downloads Despite Backlash
A true COD fan, like a madden or 2k fan, would never let quality get in the way of their subpar annual release.

Re: In Case You Missed It, Here's Some New Marvel Tokon PS5 Gameplay Ahead of Evo
Hopefully they add Black Panther and She-Hulk, so I can finally get a non-mobile game with my four favorite Marvel characters:
She-Hulk
Spider-Man
Storm
Black Panther.

@LordOfTurnips I normally wouldn't argue someone else's opinion, but after looking at the 16 minutes of gameplay. You are lying.
