And just like that, three cult classic SEGA CD and Genesis games are heading to PS5 and PS4 this week here in the West.
Officially titled the Earnest Evans Collection, the package includes Earnest Evans, El Viento, and Annet Returns — three Castlevania-style side-scrollers that'll almost certainly scratch any retro itch that you have for that era of gaming.
The collection first came to our attention in November of last year, when it was still being crowdfunded for a Japanese release. Limited Run Games has picked it up for overseas markets, and it drops on the 16th January, priced at $19.99.

This revival includes both the CD and cartridge versions of the titular Earnest Evans, rewind functionality so you can roll back any mistakes, and the ability to save your progress anywhere. Neat!
