I know a lot of people are nervous about this game and I also worry that they may stray too far from what makes Dragon Quest good, but I'm excited to see what this ends up being. It seems like it's a big project and after the international success of DQXI, it looks like they're allocating all the resources they need to it.
I'd love to see a Dr. Strange game that's totally ungrounded. A single-player, plot-driven narrative where he explores the cosmos and the mystical realms and encounters strange wink beings and scenarios that are an absolute spectacle.
The people that are complaining about complainers are the most annoying (am I a hypocrite for complaining about complainers who complain about complainers?). If everyone felt the same as you, we would get the bare minimum for everything. We need people that hold the platform-holders accountable so they are making the best product possible. You may be fine with slapdash execution as long as "the game is good" but we should be holding Sony to a standard of excellence.
I really hope this amounts to something. It might be my age but the PSP and PS3 generation were like a golden age of fresh ideas coming from Sony and third parties. I'd really like to see Sony take on board some talented indie devs instead of continuing to shed weight like they have over the last few years.
Sammy, this is not just you so please don't take offence.
Please for the love of God, stop calling us Latinx. I've never in my life met a Hispanic/Latino that wanted to be called this and I have a whole family full of them. Not to mention, in the Aztech alternate history, Europeans didn't colonize the Americas so they're not even Latino, they're Aztec/Mayan/Incan/whatever presumably.
On a separate note: This looks amazing. I love media that is inspired by Mesoamerican culture and we do not see it nearly enough. I hope that the gameplay and the final product live up to this trailer and I hope to see more Mesoamerican inspired stuff going forward.

Re: Here's Your Best Look at Joel and Ellie in HBO's The Last of Us Yet
@WolfyTn Hispanic isn't a race. You can be 100% European by blood and be Hispanic and you can be 100% indigenous (Native American) and be Hispanic.

Re: The Developer Behind God of War's Incredible Leviathan Axe Has Sadly Passed Away
Rest in Piece, George. God of War is easily one of my favorite games of the generation. Thank you for that.
Re: PS2, PS1 Wireless Pad Kickstarter Beats Pledge Goal with Time to Spare
@johncalmc LOL, okay pal.
Edit: Jokes on me, didn't realize you were a writer for the site.
Re: PS2, PS1 Wireless Pad Kickstarter Beats Pledge Goal with Time to Spare
Anyone know if I can yank face buttons from a Dualshock to put in this bad boy? Not a fan of the generic look.
Re: Ghost of Tsushima Dev Explains Why Japanese Lip Sync Is a PS5 Exclusive Feature in Director's Cut
Damn I hope I don't start realizing static characters during cutscenes because I'm pretty sure I never noticed that my first go around.
Re: Death Stranding Sells Over Five Million Copies Across PS4, PC
I got pretty far in and got busy, then never beat it. Looking forward to the "Director's Cut" for PS5 to give it another go.

Re: Aztech Forgotten Gods Remembers PS5, PS4 This Year
@Voltan Thank you for pointing that out. I somehow entirely missed that.
