Sadly, a surprising amount of gamers lack the ability to form their own opinion. I don't even mean this as an insult mind you.

The amount of people that will say "X game is bad, because IGN gave it a 7/10 (which isn't even a bad score) therefore I will never ever try out this game myself, even though I really want to" are plentiful.

A review is another person's opinion. A piece in which the writer tells you their thoughts about whatever media they've consumed. Whether they like it or dislike it, it is NOT definitive judgement 😂.

Ultimately that's what Suda and Mikami are getting at. There's nothing inherently wrong with Metacritic. But gamers using that as the be all end all of how a video game should be perceived is insane.

Like most people, I don't really care nor ever will care about Concord. But I can't help but feel for the developers.

Seems like people have forgotten that an until dawn movie is also in the works.

Similarly to how TLOU part 1 sold really well (I think) thanks to new interest from the HBO series, I'm sure Sony is planning a similar outcome for until dawn. Guess we'll have to wait and see if it pays off 👀

I just LOVE his voice so much man. Something about it that's so silky, so satisfying to hear😂. Don't wanna sound weird or anything but there's some voices that just sound so GOOD. Voices that can't be replicated. Feel the same way with Ashley Johnson and Robin Atkin Downes.

Looks fantastic. Aside from a few misfires here and there (JJK cursed trash 🗑), Bandai have been on a roll as of late. This seems to (hopefully) be another banger

A lot of people hate arena fighters...

But I love them😂. Yes, there's a lot of them that suck, but there are a lot of great ones as well. Ultimate ninja storm, budokai tenkaichi, pokken, Arms, power stone, gundam versus, kill la kill if.

Arena fighters have a lot of potential but unfortunately most of the time that potential isn't realised. But when it is realised like in the games that I listed above, you're in for a great time.

@AsterZero Honestly speaking My hero one's justice 2 was a fantastic game😂. Some issues sure, but I think with a third game they could've definitely ironed some things out. Alas, I don't know if we'll ever get a third one.

One of the best games ever made with one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard.

A big hearty recommend from me, for anyone looking to experience a tough but rewarding action platformer. Not too long as well from what I remember. Think I beat it in like 12 hours on the psp? So yeah, a great pallete cleanser between longer games.

But I think that's what I find so weird. You have plenty of games that perform abysmally initially on launch, or aren't received super well critically yet later on they become cult classics; This doesn't seem to be the the case at all for Binary Domain🥲.

I hope one day it gets its moment in the spotlight. Lot of memes can be made from this game I tell you😂

Been playing Binary Domain for the PS3 and I'm having a blast! But it's not just the gameplay that's super fun mind you, but it's the story that's surprisingly pretty good!

Now that the damned dissertation is finally handed in it's time to finally get back into videogames😭😭😭

Season 1 was an enjoyable show, but definitely doesn't compare to the original game. Felt rushed and some scenes lacked impact as a result of that. Still a solid 7/10, but I'm really hoping season 2 is an improvement.

People use to complain about reboot Lara's character design from Shadow, they've listened and gone back to her original design and people now have an issue with the very thing that they wanted in the first place 😂.

As cool as these events are, the amount of people are scary ngl😂. This is such a stretch I know, but after hearing stories related to crowdcrush I am very wary of swarms of people😬.

Understandable but a shame nonetheless. And like others are saying this void is being filled by many indie rpgs and Square's own HD-2D rpgs.

I'd highly recommend Oninaki if anybody hasn't played it. Not a perfect game, the combat is incredibly repetitive, but it's world and story were really well done imo.

I've been waiting for this!

Aside from a few outliers, more often than not anime games are rushed arena fighters but this one in particular confuses me.

It's from the same developers behind the one's justice games and it looks like a complete step down in terms of quality.

One's justice 2 is a great arena fighter in my opinion that's sadly been forgotten over time(due to the I.P not being as popular as it once was I'd imagine), and everytime I see footage of cursed clash I become incredibly disappointed. Like I have a soft spot for sh*tty anime games, but this one looks really bland.

Rayman origins/legends, child of light, valiant hearts and now this. Ubisoft seems to always kill it with their smaller projects, but only seem to make a small amount of them.😢

Like the EA originals(I think that's what it's called) label, I would love to see Ubisoft focus on making fantastic games that aren't necessarily triple A.
