@Yupyupyup everyone here is wrong for the reasons of the size of the game, except you.
Take-two seems to be content raking in the this franchise brings without having to spend on development. Every year it’s just a glorified patch. This one comes in the form of the much needed adrenaline boosts.

@Amnesiac I love accolades and sad to see them go because the devs didn’t take the time to fully grasp the PS5 API and SDKs.
The cards are amazing and it’s not our fault people don’t use them. That’s one thing that differentiates my experience from PlayStation and Xbox.

@Bleachedsmiles they should’ve been raised the price, temporarily*, and padded their pockets. Hopefully for better R&D and improvements in software and firmware for the PS5.

@DaveScoffin Because it would be an infinite trial that way. Imagine a game like street fighter with a trial. Just put a lot of accounts on your PlayStation and play on all of them.

@xyopic it’s funny you say “Wild West “, since their western themed game , Red Dead Online, has so little griefers it’s always a pleasure to play. You can PVP on different events and series by going directly to them. But when you’re in free mode trying to do your businesses and minding your business almost no one messes with you. Albeit, defensive mode in RDO can definitely use a big buff, it deters people even more. Some of its problems are dynamite arrows.

A lot of people in most video games are AHs and take advantage of any exploits and opportunities to be toxic that they possibly can. R* needs to disincentive griefing by doing things like increasing clean player bonus streak, attacker gets 60-75% of their normal health, etc. Obviously, there are many players that want to engage in player battles and there should be modes for that. There should be an option to ask and accept duels for even fights.

I’m sure many of you have even better ideas and maybe someone can get those to R*.

If there were no chip shortage and 50 million had their hands on one and there’s not enough next gen only games I would’ve been peeved. I know a lot of games got delayed so they can concentrate on a last gen port of a game that was supposed to be a next gen only game. I understand why they needed to do that.

Overcooked:all you can eat was on PS plus only included the PS5 version.

I don’t gameshare. I don’t like to because it messes up my cloud saves. Even though I have 3 PS4 and one PS5 I always leave a certain one active all the time.

I digress, those who do gameshare can play their PS5 copy with their PS4 copy with a friend or family member. Especially that this game is way better with people. Vs and coop.

Also in the subject of PS Now, they may not have the hardware right now to support PS5 games because the little they have are being used to make consoles.

@Max_the_German What? Pixel density is important. That's why when I used the PSVR, I had to tolerate it. It was a distraction from games. Astrobot could've been much more aesthetically pleasing.

Resolution is also important. If the screen is big enough and the resolution is low, neighboring pixels will be just displaying the same information which would seem wasteful. AFAIK, every display has dpi, size, native resolution relationship. I never seen otherwise. Now, for all we know it's an 8K native display, but it is advertised as 1080p/4K because the PlayStation will only process the area you're looking at because it's computationally expensive to make the entire screen 8K simultaneously.

@Elodin I don’t think it’s close. I like trópico better, but you need to work more to being a ruler / president/ dictator than city planning. Economics is the most important thing, then left / right issues.

You can always sandbox if you want to build a beautiful city. I played trópico on PC for no more than 3 hours and part 5 and 6 on PS4 for over 100 and I can tell you that there controls on consoles leave a lot to be desired. They don’t give you M&K support, either.

If you like sim city, you'll love this game.

I'm not re-buying for PS5 because I already have the PS4 with the stonks DLC and have it on game pass PC and series X as well. Which I haven't even tried yet.

@nessisonett a lot of games don't look or run as good as they could because optimizing cost man-hours.

In a year or two games on x|S and Ps5 should look and run better since the two have nearly identical architectures (AMD for both could and you) and extensions. Meaning that future cross platform game engines already include optimizations towards the architecture that it wouldn't normally have. What's technically possible isn't ever going to happen because no company is going to make a game in assembly. Just as we need faster and faster computers as the world moves away from C-like languages towards Python.

@BRT15 Do as you wish. I have both a series X and a PS5. I almost exclusively use the PlayStation. If I were to play MLB the show like I used to years ago, maybe I get more use of the Xbox. I used to play moving out when it was on Xbox. Would've played it on PlayStation now that it's on PS Now but my subscription expired and I'm not renewing until it's $40 again. It's nice that game pass had the medium, outriders, and the show day 1. Haven't played any of them except 20? minutes of the show and the outriders beta demo.

When age of empires release for PC, I'll play that. Also will play Horizon 5. I really think PlayStation is missing a Forza horizon type game. GT7 will be fine and all but it's a closed track sim game unlike Horizon. Besides that I've used PS now way more than I've used game pass especially the co-op games like trine with my nephews. It has a much larger library, albeit older games. Games with gold doesn't even compare to the PS plus games. PS plus games are way better on average.

I believe an Overcooked game was previously on PlayStation plus. I liked it and bought the other one on PS4. I've also bought Overcooked! all you can eat on PS5. I'll say it's a game that's not for everyone. It has a short learning curve which people may not want to bother with.

If AYCE is the next PlayStation plus game, the biggest winners aren't the PS plus subscribers. It's Team 17 and Overcooked. A few months back the game went cross-platform and it became even more difficult to find anyone. I'm not exaggerating. The only way to find someone to play with is to go to their discord matchmaking channel.

I’ve never played animal crossing nor sackboy a big adventure. But to me it seems like sackboy would be more fun with family than the former. To me it looks like a reskinned super Mario 3D world from the Wii U. I can’t find my switch so I’d never know.

@Dodoo they don’t have to maximize the amount of preorders. They’re probably going to sell out regardless. All Sony needs is for Microsoft to list their price first and Sony is likely to undercut them. Which would result in a greater quantity of long term sales.

@Skittlz memory is the RAM. The expanding or upgrading hard drives is adding storage.
