It's weird for me because I don't know how I feel about the series after part 2, eventhough I enjoyed both parts separately. I love Part 1, but I don't know if I can enjoy it again when I know there will never be a future for Joel+Ellie in the series.
I guess I'm not a fan of the series as such; I'm just a fan of part 1 and 2 separately, as two independent games.
Not that it matters much for me, but both of them changed a bit. New Ellie seems like she's been reverse engineered from how she ended up being designed in Part II. Kinda weird really, when it goes that way around. Overall I don't know how I feel about these types of revisions.
@Caliburn08 I think your numbers are off. The market share for smartphones move too much to talk in absolutes, but iphone had 70% of Japan in 2017 which fell below 50% last year. Sony's Xperia recovered over the past 2 years to about 7% middle of this year. Typically, Japanese makers accommodate their needs better. The notion that they hate western products is a long running myth which contradicts what I observe in my regular trips there.

@GorosBat I never outrage about any exclusivity on anything. All my life consoles had exclusives. It's the status quo as far as I'm concerned.

It suddenly occurred to me - we want this. That's why we get upset at its price tag.
I'm happy for the new comers to PS5 who wouldn't have to put up with the remaster which is beginning to look rather rough by PS5 standards.
