Re: Poll: Five Years of PS5 - How Would You Rate Sony's Console?

I genuinely don't know what I'll be doing next generation. I love many of the Nintendo franchises, so I will always be buying a Nintendo console so long as they continue making them. Not sure about Sony and Microsoft though. The games that I've gravitated towards this generation on the PS5 are multi-platform, and I've not really connected with most of Sony's first party offerings lately. Franchises like Socom, Killzone, Little Big Planet and M.A.G. (a long forgotten gem) were what made me fall in love with the PS3 (my first Sony console). I'm just not hyped up for the next generation at this point.

I'm definitely taking a "wait and see" approach with the next gen Sony and Microsoft consoles. I feel like Sony has abandoned most of the classic franchises I enjoyed (Socom, Killzone, LBP), and the direction Microsoft and Valve (PC's with a console-like interface) are going with has me intrigued.

Re: Poll: Is PS Portal the Biggest Surprise Hit of the PS5 Generation?

I used it to play through the entirety of Dragons Dogma 2 (and will likely do the same with Outer Worlds 2 once I get that). I do a lot of my gaming right before I go to sleep, and the Portal is perfect for just chilling out in bed and playing for an hour. I've not been using it lately however as I'm primarily playing Battlefield 6, and the slight lag would be a bit too much for a faster paced game like that.

It’s going on my Christmas list along with Metroid Prime 4 so I’ll play it eventually. Definitely want it on the PS5 though so I have the option to play on my Portal. I really enjoyed the first one, and this seems to be an improvement in every way.

Re: Rumour: Starfield PS5 to Take Flight Alongside New Expansion Next Year

I really enjoyed my time with Starfield on the Xbox. While the game had flaws, I don’t think it deserved the hate it received. If Bethesda would have limited the game to just a couple solar systems and had seamless transitions from land to space like NMS, it would have worked much better (the loading screens really can be disruptive during play). I’d personally give the game an 8 out of 10. Would definitely purchase it again if they bring it to Switch 2.
