@MattSilverado It's been so many things over the years that even if you don't like one of the games, you'll probably be able to find something you DO like within the franchise. The Evil Within 2 is pretty close to RE4 in gameplay style though TEW is semi open world and RE4 is a bit more linear.
I had a feeling this was going to turn out really well. The past Fromsoftware souls titles did well too, but just judging by what ppl were saying after the network test and the final build previews, I knew this was going to be special.
I only got to play a bit before work, but I really like it. The only gripe I would have is it cutting off the letters a bit when someone is speaking at the top of the screen.
@figboot If given the opportunity, I'm not going to wait until late 2022 (maybe even 2023) to play a game I've been waiting to play since 2020, downgraded inferior version or not. Patience is a virtue, but I'm not getting any younger either.
@Robocod I always try to tell ppl about Cursed Castilla. The art style and music of Ghosts n Goblins is more memorable, but I think Cursed Castilla is better in design (at least more balanced).
I really hope so. Idk about Metal Gear Solid what with the fans being devout Kojima followers, I'm not so sure they'll be open to a game without his involvement, but go crazy with Castlevania I say.
Why would you seek out a series that is known for it's difficulty and then complain about the difficulty? That would be like having a nut allergy and then complaining that you can't eat a PayDay candy bar. "If you made one without peanuts then everyone could eat one!", but of course it wouldn't be a PayDay anymore at that point. The AAA industry has become so stagnant and homogenized, obsessed with the bottom dollar and having as much mass appeal as humanly possible. Can't we just leave this alone and let the developer continue to create the games that delivered an uncompromising experience that has resonated with so many ppl and had such a huge impact on the industry in the first place?

Re: TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection Is Too Rad for PS5, PS4
@Dman10 Probably dead and buried. I don't think it was very well received.

Re: Resident Evil Village PS5 File Size Supposedly Leaks, And It's Small
It's not the size that counts. It's how you use it.
Re: Poll: Who Should Develop New Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania Games If Konami Is Outsourcing Them?
If I could play a Castlevania game made by Fromsoftware, I could die happy. It's an obvious pair.

I really hope so. Idk about Metal Gear Solid what with the fans being devout Kojima followers, I'm not so sure they'll be open to a game without his involvement, but go crazy with Castlevania I say.
Re: PS5 Scalpers Continue to Scoop Up New Stock
@zupertramp Agreed. It's getting to the point that it's not worth the hassle.
