In case you missed it, Capcom officially announced a remake of Resident Evil 4 at the latest State of Play presentation. While we all sort of saw it coming, it's great to have confirmation, and it's a very exciting proposition. The game is often regarded as one of the best action/horror games ever, so anticipation is running high for how Capcom aims to modernise it. We should get a better idea soon, as the game will be shown off once again during the publisher's own presentation next week.

The Capcom Showcase, announced earlier this week, will present us with updates on its upcoming games, and Resi 4's remake is the first game to be confirmed. We'll be getting a "fresh new look" at the game, so this won't be a simple rerun of the trailer we had at the State of Play. Perhaps it'll focus more on the action, or will detail any gameplay changes? We don't know for sure, but we're looking forward to finding out.

The show is scheduled for 13th June, so it's only a few days away before we see Leon's luscious locks once again. Are you excited for more Resident Evil 4 action? Tell us what yer buyin' in the comments section below.
