I don't think Titanfall 2 deserved to flop like it did, for one, that seems a very fun (although I haven't played it so I can't make an ultimate judgement on that) and it was a little stuck in between Battlefield 1 and Infinite Warfare, and so was a little forgotten. In terms of the others, I honestly think they look boring, and done before, and so forgettable, and nothing special, like maybe they would have been a few years ago. Horizon, Breath of the Wild and The Last Guardian look like more refreshing hits though.
Sad thing is, the games industry revolves around the money, so they will stick to the formula that has given them the most success and profit in the last few years, so not a lot of game developers will be brave enough to step out of the box and make something different to take that risk to refresh the business. I think it's just a case now that we've all been playing games like Call of Duty (shooter) and Watch Dogs (open-worlder) for years now, and they don't appear as excited as they once did, so at least some of them are bound to be flops for that reason.
PS3 was a brilliant console, had a great selection of exclusives and third-party games, probably the best games library of any console I've owned, actually. Ratchet & Clank Future Trilogy, Ni No Kuni, Soulcalibur IV, Sonic Generations, Motorstorm, LittleBigPlanet, etc. Never played Uncharted, Resistance, Metal Gear IV or Last of Us, though, which I will get onto eventually.
Don't find myself bothered about Infinite Warfare, if I had the chance I'd get Black Ops III over it anyway, so I can see why it's not doing so well. I quite like the space concept at least, though.
In terms of first-person shooters, Titanfall 2 looks far better than Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1, so I'll be getting that instead.
I'm asking for Ratchet & Clank, The Last Guardian, Titanfall 2, Steep and Overwatch for Christmas, so hopefully I'll be able to dig into a couple of those.
Looks damn nice, honestly, but I dunno. Stylistically, it's not exactly revolutionary, so in that department I'd say Zelda Breath of the Wild looks nicer, and in terms of realism Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War IV are fairly similar.
That looks amazing on the VR actually, a good rhythm game can always be very fun but it looks like one of the few styles of games that could truly be optimised by the VR.
Can't wait for this game, looks like the perfect throwback to those great old days. Probably the best move for Sonic at the moment - those days were when we got the best Sonic games.
Last month was good, so I don't know if we'll get another one equally good next month. I'd love to see Hyper Light Drifter, Enter the Gungeon or maybe a LEGO game, since I'm not bothered enough at the moment to buy one. LEGO Marvel would be very nice indeed.

Re: Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash's Gameplay Trailer Is Absolutely Unsafe for Work
Okay, the jiggle is most definitely real in this. It's basically soft porn the game. Oh boy.
Re: Review: The Last Guardian (PS4)
Can't wait to play this one, especially as my debut ICO game!
Re: SoulCalibur Trailer Celebrates 20th Anniversary, Fans Cry Out for a New Game
@themcnoisy Agreed! Although I did enjoy IV a lot.
Re: Poll: Decide Push Square's PSX 2016 Game of the Show

Re: Black Friday: 30 of the Best PlayStation T-Shirts
Street Portal's a good one. More one for band t-shirts myself though.

This game looks seriously fun.
Re: PS4 Firmware Update 4.06 Improves the Quality of Your Console
So excited... Noticed such a massive difference... Can we add our own music to the console yet?

Re: Guide: The Best PS4 Black Friday Deals 2016 in the UK
Eh, I'll wait til Christmas for getting stuff. Not interested in Black Friday myself.
Re: Feature: 10 PS4 Pro Games That Shine on Sony's New Supercharged System
@Tunmats Same opinion here! Love the forums and reviews still though, and I guess there is a big market for those two things.
Re: Feature: PS4 Has Plenty for Families This Christmas
I dunno. There isn't enough local multiplayer on the PS4 to call it a family console, at all. The Wii U has far, far more options.
Re: PS4 Exclusive Gravity Rush 2 Has Gone Gold
Oh well, I can wait for it.
Re: Review: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (PS4)
Looks ayt. @Kyroki I'm gonna get Titanfall 2 too.
Re: UK Sales Charts: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Registers Near 50 Per Cent Launch Decline

Hooray! Don't know why he wasn't in it at first.
Re: Review: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition (PS4)
I might try this at some point, you know.
Re: Video: Days Gone on PS4 Pro May Be the Best Looking Game Ever
Looks damn nice, honestly, but I dunno. Stylistically, it's not exactly revolutionary, so in that department I'd say Zelda Breath of the Wild looks nicer, and in terms of realism Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War IV are fairly similar.
Re: Sony's Nioh PS4 Exclusive Marketing Has Started Already
Looks like such an awesome game.
Re: Review: Waddle Home (PS4)
Looks incredibly boring.

Re: November's Free PlayStation Plus Games Are Available Now
Not massively excited by any but I'm sure one of them is good.
Re: Review: Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 (PS4)
Interesting... Wasn't quite expecting such a high score. Now that it has one I'm fairly tempted by it - haven't got a Dragon Ball game in a while.
Re: Review: Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour (PS4)
If I saw this for 50p, I might try it.
Re: Titanfall 2's Campaign Is All About Bromance Between Man and 'Bot
So are they legalizing robosexuality? Finally, Bender and Amy's work wasn't in vain.
Re: Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition Arrives from a Galaxy Far, Far Away
Should have been the original release of the game. Stupid how they had so much DLC content compared to original content in the game.
Re: Review: 100ft Robot Golf (PS4)
Why does this just have to be VR!?
Re: Review: Mantis Burn Racing (PS4)
Looks a bit boring, to be honest.
Re: Review: Super Stardust Ultra VR (PS4)
THAT ISN'T THE SUPER STARDUST I KNOW AND LOVE!
Re: Review: Mafia III (PS4)
It's a shame about this game. Some people are enjoying it quite a lot though despite its flaws. Does look like a good old fashioned open-worlder.
Re: Review: Thumper (PS4)
This is one of few VR games that could convince me the thing's a good idea.
Re: Review: RIGS: Mechanized Combat League (PS4)
Looks neat as VR games go.
Re: Rhythm Violence Arrives on PS4 Today with Thumper
That looks amazing on the VR actually, a good rhythm game can always be very fun but it looks like one of the few styles of games that could truly be optimised by the VR.
Re: Review: Dragon Quest Builders (PS4)
Art looks darn nice as always with Dragon Quest, might try it for cheap at least.
Re: Round Up: Mafia III Takes a Bullet or Two in First Reviews
Everyone was wary when they released the review copies late.
Re: Review: Shu (PS4)
This looks quite appealing to me actually. Might look further into it.
Re: Review: Aragami (PS4)
This looks pretty cool.
Re: Feature: October on PS4 Is Packed with Promising Games
The only one that I'm at all interested in here really is Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2, but even then I'll wait for the reviews.
Re: UK Sales Charts: FIFA 17 Runs Away with the League in October
As expected. I'll probably get FIFA 17 along with all the other masses.
Re: PlayStation Plus October Includes Resident Evil and Transformers on PS4
Huh, that's actually really good. I'll definitely download Transformers, have been interested by that for a while.
Re: Hands On: Sonic Mania on PS4 Runs Rings Around Recent Entries
Can't wait for this game, looks like the perfect throwback to those great old days. Probably the best move for Sonic at the moment - those days were when we got the best Sonic games.
Re: Review: Dead Rising Triple Pack (PS4)
These games have always looked fun, I should probably try them at some point.
Re: UK Sales Charts: BioShock: The Collection Is Still the Big Daddy
Looks about right. And yes, @PlaytendoGuy, that will certainly happen.
Re: Talking Point: What October PlayStation Plus Games Do You Want?
Last month was good, so I don't know if we'll get another one equally good next month. I'd love to see Hyper Light Drifter, Enter the Gungeon or maybe a LEGO game, since I'm not bothered enough at the moment to buy one. LEGO Marvel would be very nice indeed.
Re: Live: Feast Your Eyes on Some Tekken 7 PS4 at EGX 2016
This game could be a contender for game of the year 2017, can't wait.
