The first trailers years ago looked so good, but the latest one was terrible. The voices are god awful and the combat seems less and less "unique" with each trailer. It's just any other third person shooter except the enemies stand around and wait for you to press up down left right circle square for every single encounter. I'm sure that won't get tedious. I hope I'm wrong though, I really want this game to be good.
I'm very much a cat person, but I have no interest in this game simply because it lacks the most basic mechanic of any game, and that is the ability to fail.
It seems much less a game and more an experience. And is entirely achievable to be completed in under 2 hours.
Suddenly $30 sounds waaaay overpriced for the novelty of a cute protagonist.
Release it on pc. As a game engine. Have a marketplace where the games can be bought, or at least a donate feature. Sure there would be a ton of crappy games, but isn't that already the case on steam? Dreams has so much potential, but theres no incentive to create, other than "yay, I made a thing".
I bought days gone at full price on day one. Then a week later, after I beat the story, got the platinum and killed every horde for no reason (even though that's the only unique feature of the game, yet isn't required for anything, apart from the 2 choreographed hordes in the story which both died by literally running single file into the path of my bullets), I sold the game on ebay.
I can understand that physical media is dying out, and for good reason. You can literally download a game faster than copying from a disc, so it's completely reasonable for the disc version to be expensive relative to the other version. But I'd still prefer a console that is backwards compatible with the PS4. There's no reason in fact why it couldn't play PS4 games with higher frame rates/resolutions either, if the games were already designed to be "PS4 Pro enhanced". I also don't think it's unreasonable for some developers to add a patch for enhanced gameplay for aforementioned scenario either.
Surprised they didn't say you've been turning off your controller wrong this whole time. But honestly I can't see any reason why you would use this feature. I just have it set to turn off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity. I'd much rather the convenience of zero effort than a measly 10 minutes of battery.
Please tell me it's not going to be yet another open world garpg. (garbage rpg) You know, the kind where the level system only exists to entice the player to purchase dlc to speed up the monotonous gameplay.
"never been done before"
Except when it was done before like project spark
And because they lied through their teeth about the beta I'm just going to pick this up second hand

Re: Viral PS5 Tweet Leaves Controller Packaging Torn to Shreds
Limited stock creates demand.
People will pay more money for something if they think its sold out.
Business.
Regarding the photo, this is just one of the reasons I despise the commonfolk
Re: All PS5 Games with PSVR Support
For VR to be half decent it needs significantly higher resolution and eye tracking. And analog sticks on the controllers, but that should be obvious.

Re: Sony Stresses, One More Time, That PS5 Will Release This Year
I thought 60 fps WAS the current standard.
Expecially considering ps4 has VR which needs to be at least 90.
