I'm not usually one to get overly critical about things like this because at the end of the day I can choose to buy stuff like this or not buy stuff like this and choose not to let it effect me but it'd be nice that if Playstation wants to keep spending their time and money on rebuilding games in their library, that they'd rebuild games that aren't already playable on PS5.
I want a a PS5 exclusive game that doesn't feel like it takes place in the NDCU(Naughty Dog Cinematic Universe). Nothing against Naughty Dog, I love the Uncharted series but a couple years ago, almost every Sony exclusive felt like they were trying to be like Naughty Dog, even God of War, which is my favorite franchise(mainly the PS2 and PS3 era) feels like it's been Naughty Dog-ified.
This is a game I'm in no rush to play, mainly because I still have the bad taste of Valhalla in my mouth. I've never played a more broken game before(26 crashes plus way more bugs) and on top of that it was the most boring Assassin's Creed I've ever played, and this was after loving Origins(probably my 3rd favorite AC game after 2 and Brotherhood) and really liking Odyssey. Mirage is probably a 2025 game for me.
People crapping on a game just because it's an indie and not a AAA game. People crapping on people for liking and/or prefering AAA games over indies. People thinking indie games are instantly inferior to AAA games. People thinking AAA games and their fan base are shallow and bland. People thinking it's dumb to want to play indie games on their powerful console. Gotta love comment section and appreciate the fact that they're snobs on both side of the Indie/AAA fence.
Add me to the list of people who has never heard of this game until reading this article, but good for it. All these awards are subjective not objective at the end of the day whether you agree with the winners or not so it's not something to get worked up over.
I don't but games that often which is why I have no problem paying full price for a game if I have any interest in them. Saints Row is one of my two favorite franchises(God of War being the other) and it's a franchise I've consistently had vastly more fun with than GTA(though Vice City will always remain one of my favorite games ever), but I just can't seem to want to buy this game. Despite seeing it's gameplay in action, something about seeing it gives me more Agents of Mayhem vibes than actual Saints Row vibes if that makes any sense.
It's weird, God of War and Saints Row are my two favorite franchises, and I'm not really hyped for either release this year. I'll get them both, God of War will probably be Day 1, Saints Row will be somewhere down the line.
I remember being so hyped for the game when it was revealed at E3 and then losing all that hype two minutes later once I realized it was built as an online multiplayer game. That seems so long ago, I completely forgot about this game's existence until recently.
God of War is probably my favorite franchise. I platinumed this when it first came out. I thought it was real good but for me it's ranked 4 or 5 when it comes to God of War games. I much prefer the gameplay of older GoW games, I find them to be way more fun. I missed the combos and quick time events. And the boss battles felt a bit flat to me in comparison to older GoWs.
I also wasn't a big fan of the fact this is, along with a lot of Sony exclusives feel like it's a part of the Naughty Dog Cinematic Universe. I love Uncharted but I don't need God of War and Days Gone to look like they're apart of the NDCU. Also very unpopular opinion, I actually enjoyed Days Gone more than the newest God of War.
1) AC II 2) Origins(I love Bayek and Aya) 3) Odyssey 4) Brotherhood 5) Black Flag
Valhalla is by far my least favorite of the franchise. It wasn't interesting to me, combat just felt meh to me, plus 26 game crashes. That's more crashes than I've had total for every game I've ever played in all the years I've owned a PS4. I'm actually playing Unity right now and am enjoying it.
I bought the season pass because I loved Odyssey and I LOVED Origins. I couldn't really get into Valhalla, probably didn't help that the game crashed on me 26 times so it was hard to invested when you have to keep restarting even after a number of patches.
I loved Origins, I loved Odyssey, it'll be a long time before I make a return to this game, if I ever do. Valhalla crashed on me 26 times. In all the years I've had my PS4.I don't know if I've had 26 crashes total, let alone in one game and that's not even counting the glitches.
Was playing Yakuza 0, put my PS4 into rest mode and it automatically updated, so it closed my game, updated then went into rest mode. I hadn't saved in a while....yep...
I don't love the design, I wouldn't even say that I like it but it's not that big of a deal to me. The color scheme on the other hand I really don't like, hopefully there will be other options that aren't just limited to special releases that coincide with the launch of a video game, though I doubt very much that will be the case.
I've never had a problem with the present day stuff in Assassin's Creed. Honestly it's probably what got me hooked on the franchise story-wise when I first played the original Assassin's Creed and AC2.
It's always been X to me and it will continue to be X. If they want me to call that a cross then I'm gonna call the square a diamond that let itself go and got stuck 45 degrees on it's side.
Also if they want me to pronounce a GIF as JIF then change the word graphic to jraphic.
I wish I could go back in time to see how pumped I was when this trailer first started playing at E3 then how quickly that all went away when I realized it was an online multiplayer game. Hope the game is good and people enjoy it, but online multiplayers aren't my type of game.
Next to Persona 5 last year this was my most anticipated sequel in the past couple years...until I saw that they completely changed the way combat works. The first Ni No Kuni was basically the best Pokemon game of all time and when I found out that gameplay had drastically changed, my interest level immediately dropped. It went from being a day one purchase to a one of these days purchase. I still plan on getting it someday though.

I'm hyped for it. I loved Days Gone. Unpopular opinion, I enjoyed it more than God of War 2018 despite God of War being my favorite gaming franchise.
