@lycshe Agreed. I really enjoyed this film it was exactly what it should have been. Acting was top notch and the story played out at a good pace. Never going to please everyone but I'd watch it again.
@kyleforrester87 it may just be me but I hope it doesn't get a bigger budget sequel. More of the same would suit me to a tee. Much like Deadpool I think a tight budget helped this game shine.
Games are cheap relative to other forms of entertainment and perhaps prices should increase after all game prices have remained constant for years despite rising inflation. However, forcing microtransactions in the way EA have was never the way to go.
Either increase prices or use microtransactions for cosmetic items to recoup some of the costs.
@Ypmud Unfortunately, this is all too true. I got the Xbox one s for UHD BluRay. I haven't played a game on it other than gears 4 which was brilliant but I haven't wanted to play any others.
I would like to be able to play PSVR without it blacking out every few minutes. Yes it works okay if you turn off DCHP but then I can't use Spotify 😶
@oatmealwarrior92 Couldnt agree more. Xbone has been gathering dust for a while now. Sony just killed this gen with the exclusives. Not sure what MS have been doing but they need to come up with something special at E3 of they want scorpio to succeed
To be homest i just got the ps4 pro and only good the ps4 two years ago. If they release ps5 as early as 2019 i may abandon console gameing altogether. 3 year cycle is not worth the 350 investment at all. Im used to getting 6-7 years.
I can underatand them providing another upgraded console but ith consoles so similar to pc now they can continue to release games on ps4 ps4 pro and a ps4 pro 2 for many years without alienating fans by releasing a brand new console.
I just wanted a full remake of final fantasy 7. No changes other than new shiny graphics. The game was perfect as is. But im sure they will do a great job with this.
Im ashamed to say i gave up! I couldnt take the dying anymore it was a hard choice between having a working tv or having a broken tv. I chose the working tv and nioh is now sitting on a shelf at Game.
@AhabSpampurse I Have a 4k panasonic tv but unfortunately I didn't know hdr existed when I bought it. Just wanted to say make sure yours has HDR as 4k alone isn't worth the asking price it's hdr that makes the most difference.
@kyleforrester87 I've got uncharted collection. Ratchet and clank although it's a much improved remake. Not to mention God of war and the last of us. There's a remake of skyrim on the way too. Don't forget prototype and borderlands and countless other remakes, remasters and re-release.
Also forget to mention final fantasy 10 and now 12. Oh and 7.
@PorllM To be honest I have no problem with VR. I'm just a little annoyed with gaming in general recently.
It's like this generation of gaming has lost all ability to innovate. PS4 has seen one remake after another. Same with xbox.
And now they are asking people to upgrade to new consoles halfway into the generation and I'm not talking about slim versions, these are brand new super powered machines that will be required to get the best graphics from your console this generation.
And to top it off they are introducing VR which is a brilliant concept and I'm sure along with all the filler content will produce some genuinely innovative gaming experiences, however, I really don't want to pay out a further 400 quid to play anything decent this generation.
It's just me I'm sure but it's really put me off gaming recently.
@PorllM really? Batman vr, final fantasy vr, star wars vr, modern warfare, crash bandicoot and resident evil vr. That's at least half of what was show. And I know the last guardian isn't a remake but it's been nearly 10 years or something like that so it should have been released 4 or 5 times by now.
Was a bit nice to be honest. Really dissapointed with e3 this year. More remakes and a lot of VR.
Oh and Microsoft shot themselves in the foot by announcing not one but two new consoles. Might be just me but who's going to buy a slim line model knowing that such a powerful new console is on the way in 18months.
@BAMozzy I do have a 4k tv. And yes it is my choice but Sony gave me the choice. It shouldn't be an option for consoles that is after all why so many people have preferred console gaming over PC for so many years.
@get2sammyb Granted it's not completely obsolete as a gaming console, but it is obsolete to me because I want the best graphics I can get from console gaming, I don't want to play games that are inferior to there counterpart because Sony took the decision to release a new console 2 years into its life cycle.
I still find this to be disappointing. I buy consoles so don't have to worry about upgrades. If this the new norm then I see no reason to but the latest consoles until the upgraded versions are released.
I am extremely dissapointed in Sony. If they do release this then I may just go back to my xbox. If microsoft do the same then I will stick with Nintendo although the new 3ds makes me wonder if they will head down upgradable consoles too.
I only had my ps4 since Christmas and it will soon be obsolete.
@rjejr I got the Gear vr and yes before everyone starts telling me it's not on the same level I know. Thing is I find it hard to play for longer then 30 minutes at a time, even if it is a subpar piece of equipment the experience is the same. It is painful on the eyes as they are constantly straining to do something which in a way is unnatural. And yes it will probably ruin your hair. The headset also gets a little uncomfortable after a while as it's much heavier then a standard pair of frames.
Still, it's a great experience and for horror games in particular I see a bright future. I imagine between now and October you will have plenty of opportunities to test these new headsets and judge for yourself.
I'm a little unsure on the whole VR experience. I bought the Gear VR to test the waters and whilst it's a great gadget it's nothing more then a gimmick. I can only enjoy it in short bursts as it hurts my eyes so perhaps that is affecting my opinion a little but I don't see it adding enough to gaming to warrant 4-500 pounds

Re: Feature: 4 Things We Want to See from PSVR in 2018
I would just like time crisis with a PSVR. Games like doom have made me think stationary shooters are better equipped for VR.
Re: Guide: Upcoming PSVR Games in 2018
I would love a time crisis vr collection. I think it would be perfect in vr.

Re: Guide: All PS4 HDR Compatible Games
@get2sammyb On the basis that you are including games expecting a HDR patch then Destiny 2 deserves to be on here.
Re: Destiny 2 Down for Scheduled Maintenance Later Today
Completely ruined my gaming plans. Will have to go trophy hunting on Uncharted

It was great if your interested in more remakes or VR. Otherwise a bit lacklustre. Much better than microsoft though.
