@ATaco They're not the same people. People criticised the casting for Wesker in that live action but I don't recall people going and harassing Lance. In fact, half of those people praised Lance as the only good actor in that show in the end and he was. There were even jokes asking if his back was OK from being the sole person carrying the entire show. Lol
In this case, it's definitely not because she's Asian because Ada is Asian herself. As you see from comments here, most people don't like her voice. However, these manchildren have taken it too far.
The differences with the comments here is that people are just saying "yeah the voice acting sucked for her, hopefully they get a better voice actor next time" whereas those losers elsewhere think it's acceptable to go and directly harass the actress.
Well Capcom hired her so they should criticise them but not by harassing them or sending death threats either. But these people don't seem to know the difference between civil criticism and genuine harassment.
Hell, I hope Capcom actually rehire her now just to annoy these losers some more.
@Uncharted2007 You want to hear the sad and funny part? In this case, it's not kids but manchildren harassing the actress. You're right that GenZ have more mental illness issues because of social media and they have their own toxic thing going on but here, I presume it's millennials who played the original RE4 on release.
@BeerIsAwesome Yeah it can't be denied that The Last of Us 2 has good gameplay. All the negatively always comes from the plot but it's not just because of "muh Joel" lol. The plot itself just isn't done very well including the ending and whole theme of revenge.
The whole ending and theme imo just is laughable if you ask me. Ellie decides to give up on revenge, that it's wrong, after going on a whole massacre and even killing a pregnant woman lol. It takes towards the end of the game for her to realise it's a vicious cycle.
Also I do get the criticism towards Abby's design. She's literally the only muscular character in the whole franchise. I don't think working out in a gym would be a priority in a post apocalyptic world. It just seems odd especially when she's the only one of that build lol.
I think both Last of Us games are overrated anyway.
All Soulslike games are easy once you learn the mechanics lol.
Not to mention you can create overpowered builds. Any FPS on the hardest difficulty is still harder than any of these games. Take any Halo on Legendary for example.
Get some actual Nintendo exclusives like Zelda, Metroid, Pikmin, Smash etc. That's what I got Switch for.
@get2sammyb lol what difference does it make with the platform? It's not exactly a graphically demanding game. I played the demo on Switch without problems.
@Feena 60fps in a game like this definitely wouldn't matter lol. The only technical improvement I could imagine is even faster loading times for a game with already fast loading? So fast in fact you don't even get to read the tips...
Next we're going to be hearing some people say how the Switch is holding these old retro ports back when the PS1 is probably capable of running them, lol.
@KidBoruto I'm not too sure. Sony had God of War, GT7 and Horizon out which got quickly forgotten because of Elden Ring. Other than that? Stray which was a niche title.
This year has already been bad for Sony. VR games and one of the worst releases of the year yet (Forspoken).
@KundaliniRising333 The thing is, Souls-like games have never been ultra hard or masochist. They're all just challenging games but nowhere near ultra difficult. Those content creators need to play Ninja Gaiden Black or Razor's Edge to understand what a hard game is and that's not mentioning the Master Ninja difficulties for pure masochism...

Boycotts don't really work just like how all those claiming they were going to boycott Hogwarts ended up buying and playing it, apart from me that is because I've never been a HP fan.
