After playing Valhalla and completing it at the end of last year, the 170+hours I spent on it, I've not got an appetite to play another for a good while. Whilst I liked the story, it was just too long, usual huge list of collectables and the river raids were worthy of more than copy/paste for the amount of time you needed to spend working through them, it felt like an added bit of filler. However this would possibly be my next AC to play, but not this year for sure.
I played FFXIV for a while, plenty to do, easy to get into. However having played FFXI, certain elements of this was better, it's harder but the job roles are far more broad and versatile if you get the right gear, it felt like you could explore more, had so much fun challenging things from a different angle. However without the matchmaking from XIV you really needed to be in a good group to do certain things in XI.
This game was brilliant, just the right balance of handling, awesome graphics, felt smooth, the tracks were awesome and the detail plus variety of the cars. I'd love to have tried this on the VR headset.
This would be an epic remake or sequel to open the PS6 esp with VR, however I guess the prospect of that is dead in the water due to licensing. This was a massively underrated game partially I think because of its release problems. It's a shame it's not at least still available.
Should do this worldwide, also bind the account to the PS5 as primary for 6 months and ensure it can't used unless signed in (if password changes it needs to be re-eneterd to continue using the console), this would stop those who qualify from buying it and selling it on also.
Don't some physical games ship in a manner that they are not playable off the disc and require you to download the full game, or are in such a bad shape that a day one patch is required to make it playable? Anything PS4 onwards disc or not, how long are those day 1 patches/game data going to be available to be make it playable? Modern "physical" isn't that much better and doesn't last forever (but arguably more than long enough)
