Re: March 2023 Circana: PS5 Now Trending Ahead of PS4, Best March Ever for a PlayStation

LordBakemono

@Omnistalgic COD is not a console seller, i have never in my life heard someone (personally or online) say "im going to buy x or y console to play call of duty" bc call of duty has always been multiplatform since its release, so no its not a console seller and we wont know if it is until it becomes exclusive ( if it does) but i'm pretty sure it won't, xbox would be loosing a huge revenue and they know it, bc most people (as a poll showed) are not willing to switch from ps to xbox just for call of duty

Re: March 2023 Circana: PS5 Now Trending Ahead of PS4, Best March Ever for a PlayStation

LordBakemono

@Sil_Am they wont, first bc COD wont be an xbox exclusive for at least 10 years, or at least that what microsoft has been yaping nonstop since the Activision drama began ( also call of duty is not a console seller game, sure a lot of people play it but that's just bc its available) secondly elder 6 is years and years away, bethesda hasn't even been able to complete Starfield, the single (if only) most anticipated xbox exclusive game, and i assure you, that game is going to be a buggy mess at launch and it's going to backfire horribly on microsoft face, it may very well be the nail in the coffinig for them

Re: Consumer Spending Growth on Subscriptions Like PS Plus Is Slowing

LordBakemono

@Shepherd_Tallon exactly what people hailing subscription gaming as the future fail to see : movies and VG are a vastly different entertainment mediums, it only takes 2 hrs to watch a movie, but it takes hundreds of hrs before you are completely done with a game, even if its a short game like REmake 3 since i've played that game multiple times and i'm still trying to platinum it, so in short i like to own my games not rent them and that's why games ownership it's not going anywhere despite what microsoft and their "fans" claim.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Strong PS5 Sales Put The Last of Us 2, Gran Turismo 7 Back in the Top 10

LordBakemono

@FenIsMightier Well that's a fat no since most of the physical sales are sold on PS5, an example, REmake 4 sold 65% of its digital and physical copies againts 20% on xbox and 15% on pc, and its always the same situation in multiplatform games, and that's bc xbox players would rather wait for the game to come to gamepass (even if the game never comes to game pass XD) so once again you're wrong in your assumptions, and sure buddy if you dont want to "entertain" personal anecdotes maybe you should stop doing the same mister "I'm not in the UK, so not entirely related to this article, but I did mention this to my wife when we went shopping the other day. " lol XD

Re: UK Sales Charts: Strong PS5 Sales Put The Last of Us 2, Gran Turismo 7 Back in the Top 10

LordBakemono

@FenIsMightie i don't know if you're been living under a rock for the past few months months but microsoft itself said gamepass is cannibalizing the sales on their platform, and this came from microsoft so i'm not sure what's your argument there buddy, xbox fanboys are always saying things like " i'll just wait for it to come to game pass" and they're always trying to ridicule people who buy games, they wear that like a badge of honor

Re: UK Sales Charts: Strong PS5 Sales Put The Last of Us 2, Gran Turismo 7 Back in the Top 10

@Jireland92 a monopolizing and dominating the market are not the same thing buddy, sony is dominating the market bc they make excellent games, microsoft on the other hand can't make them so they're solution is buying every big publisher and paying them to make them, and before you start no, sony buying small independent studios after years of a symbiotic relationship or doing timed exclusivity deals doesn't compare to what microsoft is doing, if sony had the same money microsoft has playstation would be unbeatable.

Re: Upcoming PS5, PS4 Games for April and May 2023

LordBakemono

@WolfyTn you obviously never played nuts and bolts buddy bc the comparison between them are quite silly my friend, the tought of nintendo screwing one of their flagship series (and zelda at that, a series that has given us absolute masterpieces everytime) after 6 years of working on it is quite ludicrous, zelda BOTW was an amaziing game but it felt quite incomplete... bc it was, nintendo has said that BOTW was just practice with the hardware for what was coming next... i think you're going to be pleasantly surprised.

Re: Capcom Just Can't Stop Winning as Stock Hits All-Time High

LordBakemono

@TeapotBuddha the thing is .... its not easy to make the games capcom makes, bc its not about having the resources or the money or the technology, those things can be easily bought , what can't be easily bought is people with passion, love and care for what they're doing, i think above everything else that's what makes capcom games so good and endearing.
