If your existing membership is about to expire before the deals go live, don’t expect to get the reduction by waiting for the sale. If I’m remembering correctly from last year, there needed to be a minimum of 30 days of your account not having PS+ to qualify. Less than that, and you’d be paying full price.
Cocoon is a nice addition. I already have it, but happy that more people will give it a try now. Excellent game with very cool mechanics and puzzles, and no explanations.
It’s beautiful, and I’m so excited for the full release. Glad there’s a lot of customisation options for the various visuals, because some of it can be very overwhelming. I had to turn off the zooming effect.
A little disappointed VR mode wasn’t part of this demo. I expected we’d get a chance to see that too, considering Tetris Effect’s demo showed it off.
Love Promise Mascot Agency. Kaizen Game Works’ previous title is also in the sale and worth a look.
Killer Paradise has a striking vaporwave aesthetic and great soundtrack, and a style reminiscent of Danganronpa. You explore a strange island looking for clues to find the culprit behind several murders, putting all the potential suspects on trial whenever you’re ready.
There’s a lot of exploring, going back and forth between suspects as you get new information to question everyone on. It can feel a bit repetitive, but I found learning more about the twisted lore of the island and its inhabitants as compelling as getting to the bottom of the murders. This island is weird.
Gorillaz has been my most wanted addition since the Festival Pass was introduced. Sucks that half the band was put in the item shop instead of all in pass like Metallica, but still happy with this collab. They look fantastic.
@LogicStrikesAgain I expect Sword of the Sea will make it to other platforms eventually, just as other Giant Squid games did. Same with Lumines Arise, seeing that Tetris Effect was later ported to Xbox and Switch.
Opening with Enhance vibes got my attention. Seeing it was a new Lumines game with VR support had me giddy with excitement. I loved the original game, and Enhance’s other titles. So hyped for this.
Sword of the Sea is another I’ll be eagerly awaiting, also being a fan of Giant Squid titles.
Ghost of Yōtei… Not new news, but nice to see it mentioned, and definitely a game I’m looking forward to.
Several intriguing titles. Don’t know how many will actually be of interest to me when we have more information, but I’ve got my eye on a few.
Opening with Enhanced vibes though… Oh man that had me hyped. I thought there was going to be a new Tetris Effect. I was not expecting a new LUMINES with PSVR2 support!
I’m a little disappointed and hope it is replaced with a new rewards program. Something that’s usable on console rather than relying on an app though.
I get more use out of Xbox’s reward program because while it does reward app usage too, it is accessible on the device I actually play games on. I’d frequently forget Stars even existed until I opened the app and… Oh right. That’s a thing.
I got Balatro out of it though, so I’ll miss the chance to pick up games I’m intrigued by, but not sure about (and then get addicted to).
The original Oblivion didn’t have number values on the character creation sliders and when you adjusted one slider the others would move too.
The sliders in Remastered are completely independent from each other and have number values. As someone who started over with the same character a lot in the original (thanks Wyre Bash for making this easy on PC at least), this is a minor change I really appreciate. Even on console I can recreate him perfectly if I want to start over.
Played this one through Game Pass. Very tempting to pick it up on PS5. Some might find it a bit slow moving because of the walking around, and sometimes having to go back and forth a bit for some clues, but the puzzles are very good.
PSVR2 news has me crossing my fingers for a Child of Eden port. Rez Infinite is one of my favourite PSVR titles (the VR2 upgrade is excellent) and I’ve been longing to be immersed in CoE’s psychedelic beauty, flying around the phoenix boss.
Realistically, I’m not expecting it, but it would make me so damn happy if it happened.
Frontiers is one of the best 3D Sonic titles in a long time. If Sega can build on that and take it in the right direction, then I'm very excited for Sonic's future.

I don’t want to get my hopes up for Child of Eden VR, but my hopes are up for Child of Eden VR.

Re: PS Plus Essential Games for April 2025 Announced
Snagged RoboCop for cheap on Xbox a couple of weeks back. Good fun. Will definitely add it to my PlayStation library.
Re: A PS5 Re-Release of SEGA RPG Classic Skies of Arcadia No Longer Seems Up in the Air
Skies of Arcadia is one of my most wanted ports. A remastered version would be awesome to see. I’d be grabbing this day one.

Re: You'll Need This Crucial Vampire Survivors Guide Before Picking It Up Next Week on PS5, PS4
Insanely addictive game. Can’t wait to play from scratch for the fifth time.

Also Astro Bot with optional VR.
Re: Rumour: Sonic Frontiers 2 in the Works, Say Multiple Sources
Loved Frontiers. I’ll be looking forward to more details on this. Cautiously hopeful it’s as good as the first game.
