Could just be me, but the combat felt unresponsive. Like I felt an annoying input delay so I found all the precision dodging/blocking to be more difficult than it needed to be.

If this weren't coming out as literally the same time as every other big game this quarter, I'd be all over it. I'm just gonna have to shelve it for later.

I really don't mind that the game is years away. Personally, I love having stuff like this (on occasion) get announced where we have years of anticipation, discussion, and hype around it. On a base level, it's just cool to know that Kojima is working on something akin to MGS, which is something I always hoped he'd return to.

I rated it excellent. Really no complaints at all. Almost all of the content looked like something I'd be interested in trying out.

Sad to hear! Condolences to he and his loved ones. He definitely left his mark on the industry for the better.

It was a fairly innocuous joke. Why should he be under fire for something like that? Can't people laugh at themselves?

I'd really love to see an FF6 and Xenogears remake done like this.

Love both 14 and 16. Must feel great to get that kind of praise from the creator of one of the most storied franchisees in gaming history.

There’s just something too “samey” about this game to me. I dunno. Feels behind compared to Street Fighter 6.

I have to say, this is the least interesting looking MK game in a while. I've always loved the series, but with Street Fighter 6 absolutely killing it, it's hard for me to look at this and feel like it's not just a slight update to MK11.

Such a Konami thing to do. What a joke.

Cloud will always be my favorite but Clive is the best.

As long as they sold enough to make FF17.

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, but I assume this copy was reviewed before the pending Day 1 patch we're getting, right?

Really excited for this as OG FF7 is my favorite game of all time. I really have enjoyed the Remake stuff so far as well.

I think the biggest sigh of relief is seeing how big and expansive this game is looking. That's so key to making FF7 feel correct.

Loved this game. Put almost 90 hours into it.

I'm excited to see where the series goes from here. They still have room to improve on character interactions and establishing a "big bad" that gives our characters purpose for getting together beyond their own individual stories. They made some progress with this one, but I'd love to see it go even further in the next iteration.

Has any fighting game ever gotten a 10? I'm curious because if this one didn't I'm not sure what it'd take to achieve that. This has pretty much anything a fan of the genre could want and more.

@Gaia093 Agreed. Maybe it's a British take because to me Clive sounds just fine. Maybe Clive is the British equivalent of "billy bob" here in the US? I dunno. Not sure why the hate.

MGS3 is my favorite out of all of the MG games but I'd still love to see a MGS1 remake more than anything.

A sequel would be great. It doesn’t have to follow the same characters or story line. I’d love to see it focus more on the actual Hogwats school experience instead of outdoors, which is where I felt most of the game took place.

They should do this with the new Street Fighter. Show someone who's mastered all the combos and then tries to apply them in the UFC.

I will 100 percent be getting this game. But as of now I'm still working on Octopath Traveler 2 and Resident Evil 4.

My wallet…it’s going to suffer. I’m still playing Octopath Traveler 2 and have yet to dive into Resident Evil 4 remake. And the pixel remasters.

Man, how great would it be to get a FF6 remake with these graphics? I don’t know how likely that is considering the recent pixel remasters but I’d be all in.

I really enjoyed this game. It's not perfect by any means, but a great first game out of the gate. I think if they just made it next-gen only, they could make it even better.

I started to feel less good about FF after X. Upon retrospect, I like that game a lot more now than I did back when I first played it. I was put off by the voice acting and the lack of a real world-map. I also thought the setting was kinda dull.

I also was hyped about XII. I put about 40 hours into that game and then quit after being killed in-between some very key save points. I was never captivated by the main story in that game and I didn't care for the gambit system. Too much micromanagment.

13 was a disappointment as was 15. I was shocked at how good 14 was/is and super thrilled that 7:Remake turned out so good.

I can't wait for this one. Feels like they've taken all that they've learned in the past 15 years and corrected a lot of the issues. Yoshi P is a genius and I have no doubt this will be excellent.

As pretty much a life long Final Fantasy fan, I'm pumped!

I spent 10 years waiting for Versus 13 (15) to finally come out and that was a major disappointment. This is looking to be the total opposite.

The big X factor is a persons right to watch it or not watch it. Personally I'm happy to see more footage. I don't understand why people complain when they can just ignore it.

I'd love to know what constitutes "abuse"? Trolls are trolls. Doesn't make their behavior morally right, but I feel like the best way to deal with that is just to ignore them. Maybe that's what she's doing?

Saying someone sucked at something isn't abuse. If that were the case, every sports commentator worth their salt would be out of a job.

I personally hate micromanaging stuff like this, so hopefully they'll give some basic presets that I can just set and forget. Having more flexibility will be good for those that like to tinker, though.

This is timely. I literally just ordered mine yesterday.

I don' think this will ever replace my normal flat-screen gaming hobby. It's just a supplemental to that. The fact that it can provide experiences that a simple 2D setup cant do gives it viability for me regardless as to whether or not it's supported in the long term. I hope to at least see some updates to past PS4 titles to round the system out a bit better, but either way I'm still going to be glad to have something like this on hand.
