I'll admit it: I'm starting to come around to wanting one...

I do think it sucks that a game like this is launching into an environment where stuff like "girl bosses" are incredibly taboo. IMO, I don't like the constant gender swapping and replacing of masculine roles with females....when it's done poorly.

Jin was the least interesting part of GoT to me. I honestly forgot his name. If there's one thing that Blue Eyes Samurai taught me is that a badass female samurai can work just fine if handled properly. Just don't take away what makes her a female by trying to make her just a man with boobs. Retaining her femininity while also being a warrior would be great to see.

Hard hit for Sony but I'm glad this happened in such a big and impossible-to-ignore way. They've got to do better.

It's been a while since I've played a game that just felt like a joyous experience. This appears to be everything I hoped it'd be. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

not really surprised or too upset about the lack of a disc drive. I think so long as there's an option to add one for $50, it's no biggie.

Could just be me, but the combat felt unresponsive. Like I felt an annoying input delay so I found all the precision dodging/blocking to be more difficult than it needed to be.

If this weren't coming out as literally the same time as every other big game this quarter, I'd be all over it. I'm just gonna have to shelve it for later.

I really don't mind that the game is years away. Personally, I love having stuff like this (on occasion) get announced where we have years of anticipation, discussion, and hype around it. On a base level, it's just cool to know that Kojima is working on something akin to MGS, which is something I always hoped he'd return to.

I rated it excellent. Really no complaints at all. Almost all of the content looked like something I'd be interested in trying out.

Sad to hear! Condolences to he and his loved ones. He definitely left his mark on the industry for the better.

It was a fairly innocuous joke. Why should he be under fire for something like that? Can't people laugh at themselves?

I'd really love to see an FF6 and Xenogears remake done like this.

Love both 14 and 16. Must feel great to get that kind of praise from the creator of one of the most storied franchisees in gaming history.

There’s just something too “samey” about this game to me. I dunno. Feels behind compared to Street Fighter 6.

I have to say, this is the least interesting looking MK game in a while. I've always loved the series, but with Street Fighter 6 absolutely killing it, it's hard for me to look at this and feel like it's not just a slight update to MK11.

Cloud will always be my favorite but Clive is the best.

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, but I assume this copy was reviewed before the pending Day 1 patch we're getting, right?

Really excited for this as OG FF7 is my favorite game of all time. I really have enjoyed the Remake stuff so far as well.

I think the biggest sigh of relief is seeing how big and expansive this game is looking. That's so key to making FF7 feel correct.

Loved this game. Put almost 90 hours into it.

I'm excited to see where the series goes from here. They still have room to improve on character interactions and establishing a "big bad" that gives our characters purpose for getting together beyond their own individual stories. They made some progress with this one, but I'd love to see it go even further in the next iteration.

Has any fighting game ever gotten a 10? I'm curious because if this one didn't I'm not sure what it'd take to achieve that. This has pretty much anything a fan of the genre could want and more.

@Gaia093 Agreed. Maybe it's a British take because to me Clive sounds just fine. Maybe Clive is the British equivalent of "billy bob" here in the US? I dunno. Not sure why the hate.

MGS3 is my favorite out of all of the MG games but I'd still love to see a MGS1 remake more than anything.

A sequel would be great. It doesn’t have to follow the same characters or story line. I’d love to see it focus more on the actual Hogwats school experience instead of outdoors, which is where I felt most of the game took place.

They should do this with the new Street Fighter. Show someone who's mastered all the combos and then tries to apply them in the UFC.

I will 100 percent be getting this game. But as of now I'm still working on Octopath Traveler 2 and Resident Evil 4.

My wallet…it’s going to suffer. I’m still playing Octopath Traveler 2 and have yet to dive into Resident Evil 4 remake. And the pixel remasters.
