Re: Guide: How to Attach an External HDD to Your PS4

IvanDrago316

@get2sammyb Hi Sammy, I have a question that I've not seen asked/answered anywhere yet. I replaced the 500GB HDD that was originally in my ps4 with a 1TB HDD a few years back. I still have the original 500GB HDD. Can I use the original 500GB HDD as an external HDD if I insert it in a USB 3.0 caddy and connect it to the PS4?

Re the PSN status feature - Would it not make more sense for some kind of display (like a red light for down/green light for fine) on the main menu screen? Up in one of the top corners for example. That way you would see it at a glance without having to access the Settings/Network sub menus. Decent addition but could be executed in a better way I think.

Re: E3 2015: Almost Half PS4 Owners Never Had a PS3

@Sanasalin The first two were remastered from the PS2 versions and released as a collection on PS3. Not convinced a remastering of a remaster would be hugely in demand. Still the first 2 were awesome games.

If anything they should have thrown in a remastered GOW Ascension with the GOW3 remaster.

Re: Guide: Hints and Tips for Beginners in The Witcher 3 on PS4

Any tips for fighting the Noonwraith by the old well? I checked it's weaknesses and oiled up my (silver) blade with spectre oil as it was indicated as being weak to it. Damn thing kicked my backside and from what I could tell any blows I landed were not doing much if any damage. I could swear it's health was regenerating too. Any advice is appreciated.

Re: Stay Tuned for DLNA News on PS4, Says Sony

@get2sammyb Yeah I would like the option to be able to choose which friends I receive notifications for. It would get rather annoying there was a notification for a few hundred people everytime.

Again though I don't see this as being a particularly difficult thing to put in place. I'm no expert - far from it in fact so it looks like I (we) will need to remain patient for this particular feature.

This will be a welcome addition for many users. It's not something I'm particularly looking for but I know lots of PS4 owners are. For me friend notifications are something that should have been available out of the box. PS3 and Vita both have this so for PS4 not to have it seems strange to me. Surely this would be very simple to implement?
