Well at least it has an achievement set on retroachievements.

Honestly, I just can't be arsed about it. The first time I saw it on GOW1 I went: "Hah, alright." But the more it appears to more you go: "Aren't you on a vengeance spree my dude?"

These games were always about the devs pushing things until they started laughing, and then scaling it back. I have no issue with it not being in the games, as long as they make a few more QOL improvements with some of the platforming/puzzles.

I didn't get that much out of the PSVR2 on my PS5, but I will admit it's been a freaking pleasure on PC.
Ironically it's made me buy more VR games, but on PC. If Sony decided to let Astrobot out of PS4 jail, I'll pay full price for it again on PC.

That's the great thing about gaming: You can just do whatever.
I didn't even hesitate thinking how much I wanted this game because of the protagonist.
Hell, if nothing else it's always nice to get anything that isn't the typical "chiselled, brown hair, white fella".

With the soft reboot of God of War I started to loose a bit of the magic of the games.
When I finally finished Ragnarok on PC my only thought was: Slog of war.

The pacing just felt bloated which is also how I felt about The last of us part 2.

Now inherently I have no issue with the 2D game, still gotta get to it, and the devs do some awewome stuff so I'd trust that this isn't all bad. What I did wonder if we'd see is if they'd either port that JAVA game version (or well, remake that) or do a 2D game with Loki.

I'll still get around to this game as I love me a metroidvania. My real concern is that remake trilogy. Have a bad feeling we're getting the old engine with UE5 slapped on it and everyone have that weird shiny look.

I don't wanna be pessimistic, but I have this bad feeling it's gonna be one of those "Old games with OG engine, reskinned in Unreal Engine 5" projects.
All these recent games doing that look so... Off to me. Even Crisis Core's remaster lacks a lot of the warmth of the PSP version for me... Which is kinda funny since all of Squeenix's PSP games had a weird blue tint on their videos.

@sanderson72 excuse me asking, it's been ages since I installed Oblivion on PS3, but was it really on a dual layer 50GB disc? I gotta imagine it was on a single layer 25GB disc? (I get your point was more about it being on one disc, I'm just genuinely curious if it was on a 50 gigo disc)

I still buy music for this. It's basically my karaoke machine and I let people buy whatever I don't have.

Not gonna lie, I was fairly hopeful it would be bombastic cards featuring their older characters.
I've wanted to collect all the video gamey magic cards as someone that doesn't understand MTG at all, but these feel a little boring display wise.

This is just another sign that Sony needs a smash bros type game. They can put all the classic playstation characters in it like Dante, Big daddy, Raiden, Cole MacGrath... Cole MacGrath again.

@MrSensical I loved the museum when popping by during PAX. I must've gone through it 4 times. Based on the timing of the game now, I might get to give it a go during this year's PAX.

I'm a big sucker for the warrior games, although generally the crossover ones. But this, wow, looks like a good frigging time. I was on their wikipedia list the other day after a Hyrule Warriors binge wondering what they're up to.
I never jammed the mainline games, does anyone have any recommendations for those across different platforms?

@get2sammyb Microsoft has the pockets to deal with the licensing, but the question is if they'd let Sony have it when they could rather do it for their own BC stuff along with other Activision stuff.
