Re: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Beta: All Start Times, How to Play, and What's Included

There is in option to change the controls to the traditional R2 for acceleration (although the options show as R1)
This transformed the demo for me as I was not enjoying it with the default controls; this is coming from playing Disney Speedstorm, which I still think is the better racer (handling & graphics wise) and having been playing it daily for the last 2 years my muscle memory is hard to change
For me Speedstrom is now at the meta games stage where the racing takes second stage to upgrading my racers (now at over 100 characters !!)
Looking forward to Sonic being a more traditional racer with Gran Prix to play through, rather than Speedstorm's live service mechanics

Would love to see a Gravel 2
Really enjoyed Gravel, it had an old school Sega Rally vibe and it was great to play an arcade style racer with straight forward mechanics - just win !!
A fun racer that doesn't out stay its welcome but not much of a looker compared to more modern racers
It also seemed to run faster & smoother on my Series X than my XBox One, although I don't think I noticed the same improvement with the PS4 version on PS5

It might just be me, but the install size is ridiculous for a beat'em up. It's a genre I will play for an hour or two if I'm in the mood and then may not go back to for months and to have (on XBox) nearly 200gig for a fighting game is crazy, when I'm sure the MK Trilogy on XBox Arcade was around 200mb (I think).
This install size puts me off getting the game
