As someone who’s put over 60 hours into this game I can confidently say that this is just the cherry on cake for us skate players atm. Since launch there has been a distant lack of content with a focus on selling generic and recoloured items for real cash in the store. On top of this the events they have released have been so lackluster and low effort with skateparks which are nigh on un-skateable. Pretty sure that the community park updates they’ve released are AI generated as the park lines make ZERO sense for skating.
If you look at the board designs in the cash shop they are all clearly AI generated too.
For long term skate fans, this whole saga just screams low effort cash grab and represents absolutely nothing of skate culture. Such a shame!
I dropped off from GOT due to the repetitive nature of missions and taking over of far too many camps, is this more of the same? Is the open world and side mission stuff more varied and engaging?
Cyberpunk for me. Really REALLY enjoying it! Bought the game at launch 🖥️ 🔥 Spent 15 minutes fighting a cyberpsycho only for him to get stuck under the map so I couldn’t loot 🙌🏻
Quickly uninstalled and waited all this time to revisit. Was worth the wait for sure!
I am stupidly hyped! The build up for the GTA V release was sublime! I watched GTAV o’clock every week for any little nuggets of info on offer!
I was one of the first to find a Peyote collectible when that update hit. It was such a cool scavenger hunt on the forums!
The only concern I have is that they’ll be doubling down on online rather than the story, maybe more of an MMO vibe. I reckon this’ll be the last GTA in a traditional sense. I guess we’ll see!
Cyberpunk was a day one purchase for me but when an important NPC got stuck inside a set of stairs and essentially broke my play through I quickly uninstalled and sold my copy on eBay! Been waiting so long for a big update to deliver the goods so I can actually enjoy the experience I thought I was getting originally! This one’s looking legit!
@Quintumply couldn’t have summed it up better myself! I finished Raya Lucaria academy and tapped out. I much prefer the linear style of previous Souls games, managing the open world was the hardest part of the game for me.
I am so disappointed that they’re not adding the ability to turn off character names. It really ruins the immersion when you’re walking down a lane and the word “horse” is above a horse… like… why!? 😂
I think the main reason FromSoft get a free pass so to speak when it comes to frame rate/graphics/reused animations etc is due largely to the quality of the content. From soft games are one of the last few AAA developers who aren’t putting content behind paywalls, tacking on endless dlc or even adding micro transactions! You get exactly what you pay for 10 fold with FromSoft games, I’m very excited to see what they do with an open world!

Re: Respawn Reportedly Developing First-Person, Bounty-Hunting Mandalorian Game
Sounds great! Lots of hate for linear design but I for one am sick of bloated open world games.. GIMME THOSE BIG CORRIDORS!! 🫡🫡

Re: Gollum May Not Be the Worst PS5, PS4 Game of the Year After All
@Powerplay94 a similar game? Mechs v kaijus is the name of the game I’m referring to 🙂
Re: Gollum May Not Be the Worst PS5, PS4 Game of the Year After All
@Powerplay94 give mechs v kaijus a go. A decent little tower defence game with some prettt decent depth once you get past the clunky AI
Re: Hold the Phone, Hotline Miami's Getting a PS5 Version
I was thinking about doing a let’s play on this the other day so that’ll be awesome timing! 🙌🏻

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 457
Witcher 3. It’s hooked me back in and I just wanna play all the time.
I’ve loaded up an old save, so I’ll be finishing up some Gwent bits and then hitting Blood & Wine for the first time! Can’t wait!

Re: The Witcher 3 PS5 Will Include Free DLC Inspired by Netflix Show
For anyone struggling to get into this game here’s what I’d recommend -
Play it on Blood and broken bones (hard)
Do a bunch of Witcher Contracts to really get yourself into the mood of the game
Don’t focus too heavily on the ‘?’ marks, I tended to only visit them when travelling to a mission marker.
Limit your fast travel (best way to get sucked into the fantastic sound design)
Watch a couple of beginner tips YouTube videos to explain the more complex gameplay loops (potions, oils etc)
Make sure movement is set to alternative! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE SURE!!
Play all the secondary quests in an area before progressing too far with the main quests.
Witcher contracts are great but you can always go back to them and use the enemy level scaling setting for a higher challenge.
Most importantly don’t rush!! The amount of content is overwhelming so if you play this game like a checklist you won’t have much fun!
I hope this helps someone! This is still my favourite game to date and I think everyone needs to give it a try!
Re: Soapbox: One Year Later, Call of Duty: Warzone Has Consumed Me
I think I would love this game if they ditched loadout drops and kept everything loot based.
