I normally avoid social media, ive never even signed up to facebook. However im always keen to hear other peoples gaming stories so the share button justfies the existence! I find myself on the home screen watching other peoples videos for half an hour before I even load a game.

If your part of a crew or clan or whatever then its useful, & faster than the PS app itself. Dont see the cause for negative reactions..

Bethesda really need to use modders ideas. The best Skyrim mod for me was one with Horse drawn carriages.. disabling fast travel & forcing you to trek it or use paid horse carriages to travel between towns only. It opened up the world threefold.. Though with most of FO4's environments being urban i dont see how they'd implement it I think fast-travelling defeats the point of building such a huge & varied world.

Its the same game, so i'd imagine the guide applies to PC too. Provided your not using any mods that alter stats or levelling obviously.

Half of their staff clearly dont even play games, you cant even ask their opinions or have a chat about games your thinking about getting. Gamestation are owned by them, yet they are much more knowledgeable & helpful in-store. Same with CEX, they are gamers. Nah, I never buy from GAME..

Much has been said about its visuals since the leaks, Bethesda already said outright they didnt push the graphics & went for content instead. I think it looks as good as it should, when I think Fallout I dont think photo-realism anyways! I wouldnt put any stock in whats been said tbh, anyone who thinks the visuals are only marginally better than FO3 clearly never played FO3.

@Johnnycide Your not the only one. I like it in the promo's & cutscenes etc.. & its a stark contrast to the violent nature of the game.. but I couldnt tolerate it playing while I explore.

I feel announcing a game too early leaves gamers disillusioned after a while, either with lack of updates OR with too many updates & no ETA. They cant win, I guess! Look at what Beth did with Fallout 4.. We expected it, but still wasn't 'ready' when they finally did confirm it.. & by then the game was in its last cycle of development. Cue hype overdrive..

I dont think 'best of all time' is a fair accolade, since all consoles belong to different era's. PS2 was definetely the best of its era.. but maybe you can just put that down to lack of competition? Either way, with PS2 in its slippers & dressing gown now is the perfect time for PS2 playback on PS4..!!

Touche. As Capcom got Sony's money earlier this year to secure SF5 exclusive. Its a shame this is what its come to though.

I dont think they have atrocious standards when it comes to bugs.. Its just that the open-world non-scripted 'total player freedom' nature of their games is difficult to thouroughly bugtest. Witcher 3 had its share of bugs, but CDPR have been pretty militant with their post-launch bugstomping.

Also considering they are supporting mods for XB1 first.. PS4 "at some point later down the line.." Cant help but feel MS is getting more of Beth's love for this one.

Im starting to resent these publisher-specific services. Maybe its just because i've been playing games for over 20 years now, but I also just like buying a game in its box..

Not sure if id risk skinning the console, but would definetely do my controllers.

See Neolit's post earlier. Amazon have a listing for the physical retail copy already, but others are speculating if its dropped with no warning as the article implies then it may be download only at first.

As the article says, stranger things have happened. Though one has to wonder how much they stand to lose on preorders etc with a strategy like that. Especially in the current climate of preorder bonuses & extra content.

Off the field? Its a football game, theres no such category. All the licences, Sky Sports presentation & commentary etc mean nothing if its no fun to play. The kids will lap it up, therefore it will sell. Its the sports equivalent of CoD, rinse & repeat every year.

I'd say the file size isnt necessarily an indication of the size & scope of the game itself, some companies compress their games more economically than others.

Agreed. I didnt buy a PS4 to play remastered last-gen games from two or three years ago..
