Re: Hold on to Your Handlebars! Here's How MotoGP 14 Looks on PS4

EyeDeeNO76

I love to go fast on or in anything with internal combustion engine in games and real life. This is something I would have interest in playing on PS4. Makes me want to fire up my copy of MotoGP 10/11. Go Nicky!
I wonder if Polyphony Digital will ever make another Tourist Trophy The Real Riding Simulator?

Re: Kaz Hirai: PS4's Success Will Be Determined by Continued Install Base Growth

EyeDeeNO76

I still get a bitter taste in my mouth when I think about the fact that I will need to pay to use PlayStation network when I move to PS4. I have not as of yet and don't want to pay more just to play any given game to it fullest with the use of an network subscription when it was not something I needed to factor in on the PS3. I am not concerned about PlayStation plus instant games collection of free games if I know about a good game and want it I look into purchasing it and the discounts are nice if was for a game that was a bite size digitally only. I have interest in Battlefield 4 so far and maybe Watchdogs I want to play on the new console outside of that... I don't know.

The picture of Kaz Hirai makes me think of George Takei Star Trek's Hikaru Sulu (the older one of course) doing a backward Vulcan salute.

Re: GRID Autosport Puts the Brakes on PlayStation 4 Release

EyeDeeNO76

Makes no difference to me next, current or last generation if is a good game I will play it. I saw a cockpit view 😊 😊 in the trailer... think they will have full wheel support as well? Maybe Codemasters have leaned trying to cater to the shortsighted casual gamer and ignoring the long time supporter was not going to pay off.

Re: You'll Be Able to Prevent Watch Dogs Players from Hacking into Your PS4

It maybe optional now till some developer tries to up the ante and makes it on all the time as well an integral part of the game. Setting off a chain reaction of they did it now we must do it too. This blurring of the lines should not be used to fill in the gaps of in-game artificial intelligence. I guess I may turn it on for a second run through the campaign.

Re: New Gran Turismo 6 Update Gives You a Free Car on Your Birthday

EyeDeeNO76

Gran Turismo 6 was released on my birthday so will have to wait till next year to get car from the seventies. I like the Stingray Gran Turismo concept but I think the wing/spoiler is just for looks. I must say the the Red Bull X cars sound so much better than the GT5 ones that are to high pitched with little to no mid and low end notes.

Re: Want Backward Compatibility on PS4? You May Get Better

EyeDeeNO76

Like it I would love it! If I could take my PS2 box it up to store it and use a disk (the games I own) with the PS4 with some resolution enhancement.. also free up space to set up a PS4 that would be AWESOME!! But if they think I will purchase digital versions. No I will not buy a game more than once.

@Sutorcen Why would Sony distanced themselves from the father of the PlayStation he retired as honorary chairman of SCEI and senior technology advisor. I would have loved to seen the PlayStation 4 have had a Cell Broadband Engine Architecture version 2.0. Also I have a loose connection to the chip it was manufactured just down the road from me at IBM East Fishkill N.Y. a facility I use to work at as a electrician.

Re: Ever Wanted to See Inside a PS4 Controller? X-Ray Saves the Day

@eLarkos "Why are (what im assuming are) the rumble motors not symmetrical on each side?" If you are talking about the weights at the ends of the rods sticking out the motors one is for light rumble and the other is for a heavier rumble and where the name DualShock derived. Fun fact there is a Japanese model SCPH-1150 for the PlayStation (PS1) which had only one light rumble motor and version this Japanese model release to the European and American markets call Dual Analog Controller (SCPH-1180) but Sony decided that vibration feedback would be removed from these versions of the controller. All versions of this controller had very long fatter hand grips and has three modes of operation digital, analog and a unique flightstick mode that is not available on the DualShocks.

Re: Pachter: Nintendo Should Publish Its Games on the PS4

EyeDeeNO76

@Tasuki Yeah found this ⇨ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_PlayStation some of what it stated was Nintendo signed a deal with Sony to produce a CD-ROM add-on for the SNES. After several years of development, Sony introduced a standalone console at 1991's summer Consumer Electronics Show called the "Play Station." The system was to be compatible with existing SNES titles as well as titles released for the SNES-CD format. However, due to licensing disagreements with Sony, Nintendo announced that it had formed an alliance with Sony's rival Philips to produce the SNES-CD add-on. The partnership with Philips did not produce a CD add-on for the SNES. Eventually Sony dropped its partnership with Nintendo and developed its own console independently, which resulted in the release of the original PlayStation, a chief competitor of the SNES's cartridge-based successor, the Nintendo 64.

@Sutorcen Sony may have looked to what they could do to the Cell microprocessor for the next new console but the typical person and the industry are moving away from a game console as you or I know it just like what is happening to PC with tablets and smart phones now in use by more and more every day. Sony went the fast track way to put out the PS4 with off the self Advanced Micro Devices components. I am Intel fan myself.

I am a proud owner of a PlayStation SCPH-7001, PlayStation 2 SCPH-30001 and PlayStation 3 CECHK01 I would never get rid of them even if broken I would save the parts and buy another if I could not fix it my self because I must have 300 PS, PS2 and PS3 games and still get more from time to time. I have the PS boxed up but the PS2 and the PS3 hooked up to the LCD TV. I wish I had the space I would like to set up a CRT TV so I could use the light gun games I have.

Re: Game of the Month: December 2013 - Gran Turismo 6

EyeDeeNO76

I am at 80% complete with the Gran Turismo 6 career so I have put some time into it I would have to say the new vehicle physics are awesome it's more livelier the cars buck, rock and hop and feel better than ever. The lighting effects does a great job of portraying light intensity. The A.I. is more convincing they block you and they all don't always drive on the race line also they make mistakes go off the track and hit one anther. Gran Turismo 6 has all the downloadable cars that GT5 had even the GT5 collector's edition exclusive five chrome line cars can be find. It couldn't be any better for a last gen console driving sim that is.

Re: Poll: What Was Your Favourite PlayStation Game of 2013?

EyeDeeNO76

Re-post from "Game of the Year: Best PlayStation 3 Games of ..." I had a lot of fun over the summer with Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon... love that soundtrack ( https://soundcloud.com/powerglove ) and that 80's look as well as all the references. To add even after I beat it I still when back for much more laser gun fun. Remember Me was a game I enjoyed nothing like taking down mega-corporations it had that memory remixing puzzle segments and the low health screen glitching and the music that where nice but on the downside the combat was repetitive and frustrating at times but over all I liked it. GT6 came out so late in the year it is hard for me to think of as a grate game of '13.

EyeDeeNO76

"Bizarre happenings?" yes but minor. I didn't think anything about it at the time just thought it was a glitch in connection. Yesterday I got a trophy and tried to load it up onto my account but when I did I got an error code and wasn't disconnected from the network also I couldn't see my or my fends profiles. Inane asshats indeed.

Battlefield 4 is the only game out now on the PS4 that I would want to play but it is broken so till it gets patched to where it's fixed for good or anther game I want to play on the PS4 i.e. say Watchdogs (maybe) is released I will be happy with the 80 or so PS3 games I have now. I also have hopes of platinuming some more games and time to do so.

Re: Feature: The Road to Gran Turismo 6

EyeDeeNO76

For me I have GT1, GT2, GT3, GT5 and Tourist Trophy but would have to go with GT4 with the Logitech Driving Force Pro... force feedback and with (at the time) the new 900-degree wheel rotation that made control and feel much more precise and with games like these it's the only way to go to get the most out of them. Than GT4 still had more to offer 3 years later using component cables from the PS2 to get 1080 on my new HDTV as I waited for the DualShock 3 and a price drop of the PS3 console.
Now just have to wait till GT6 to be delivered I pre-ordered from GameStop to get the 15th Anniversary Edition upgrade. Now only if I could afford that official Thrustmaster T500 RS wheel but the Logitech Driving Force GT gets the job done just as well.

Re: A Tornado May Have Taken This Man's Home, But It Spared His PS4

This story makes me feel somewhat better amidst the stories of some ass-hats out there... one smashing a PS4 with a bat at Best Buy in Orlando anther destroy his PS4 in his garage and then urinate on it to yet anther that shoots the console with two rounds from a .50 cal. Barrett all so they can some hits on YouTube. But this guy in Washington IL. who found his PS4 untouched after weather from hell is good one.

Re: Review: Battlefield 4 (PlayStation 3)

EyeDeeNO76

It's nice that there is a PS3 version... but the PlayStation 4 version is the only way to go in this new installment of the Battlefield franchise. To me the PlayStation 3 version doesn't even exist.
