Why is it a "problem" that a business pursues a strategy that makes money? They satisfy the millions of people who demand sequels to their favourite games. It sounds a bit elitist to call that a problem.
I've only had my PS5 for 12 months. Most new games were also available on my PS4. So I decided to wait for the Pro version. I expect to be playing on this for another 5 years. A PS6 would have to be a stellar leap forward for me to change before then. I am growing to love my PS5 Pro. I have fond memories of both PS2 and PS4 (less so the PS3), but I think the 5 will prove to be my favourite.
I've never played a GTA game (but I have watched Star Wars). I will give Pacific Drive a go. First time in months I've actually been interested in the offering.
I think we are on the threshold of a revolution in the way games tell stories. Developers are just waking up to this. The examples cited may or may not be narrowly focused, but they will be the springboard for a leap in creativity.
I've played 118 hours on the game. Yes some stuttering. Yes some crashes. But I've enjoyed revisiting an old game. I sometimes wonder whether the technical standards Digital Foundry use to evaluate a game have much relevance to what gamers are actually willing to put up with. It's a shame people are put off trying out Oblivion Remastered by these sorts of report. If you are disappointed by the game it might not be for technical reasons - they just make it an easy target for criticism.
I don't understand the whingeing. I have 50 hours on the game on my Pro and it is perfectly playable. Very satisfied with the graphics. Occasional crashes, and occasional fr drops. No big deal. As for the upscaleing issue - it's Oblivion, it's a game from 20 years ago, it comes with scaled mobs so you can explore the whole map.
I've been looking forward to this, and the Intro does look amazing. I really wanted to like KCD1, but what killed it for me was the time wasted with loading screens. It will have to provide a better experience this time or I won't buy.

I love this game. Great news.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for February 2025?
It's pretty bad this month. But luckily my next 200 hours play time will be on Sniper Elite Resistance which I've just started.
