@Ralizah Maybe it's time for me to schedule a vacation...

Seriously though, I'm glad things are going better for you. I can let your love for Nintendo over PlayStation slide. lol

@Ralizah You come and go more than the Karma Chameleon. Glad things are getting better for you though!

@RogerRoger Your screenshot competitions have been a joy to follow, and even for a novice like me to participate in. Thanks for your efforts these last few years.

P.S. I hope this doesn’t mean a retirement from all future contributions to our Push Square forum, routine or otherwise. It’s a brighter and more interesting place when you’re in it.

Regardless, you know I support you 1000% on whatever you need to do, my friend.

I figured this might be the case @RogerRoger and was actually going to message you about it.

No worries about not being able to do it. You come first and I hope you're doing well.

Being a teacher my schedule is pretty hectic this next month so... I'd really prefer the chushy judging position but if push comes to shove and no one else volunteers to take the reigns then... I might attempt taking charge just to keep it going. It's forum tradition at this point and I'd hate to see it absent this year.

No promises though.

If someone does take over and it isn't me... For the love god no "Comedic" category like last year... That was really rough and I'm not judging it again

@RogerRoger that's a shame pal. But understandable nonetheless.

Life tends to run in cycles and in a few years you may want to run something similar, amongst the forums, or somewhere else.

Great work anyway mate. Always a pleasant surprise reading the forum posts and the finale article.

Have a great Christmas and New Year.

Touché Rog. Touché.

Well I made a topic about it and used your monster tag list of everyone who took part last year. No pressure of course to any of 'em but let's hope someone takes up the mantle who has the free time to do so!

@LN78 That State of Play thing and the bizarrely positive feedback reinforced that I’m just over all of it.

@nessisonett I guess somebody wasn't a fan of last week's State of Play. I thought it was ok, but not the great thing a lot of people made it out to be either.

Unfortunate to see RogerRoger close their account. Rog hasn’t posted in a while, but I just now realized the account is gone. I thought maybe it was just a temporary break but apparently it’s a permanent one. Here’s hoping all it well with them and if you’re out there Rog, cheers and happiness to you. 🍻

Good riddance to bad trash. I am joking, of course, Roger is lovely* and I am sure he will be back.

*In fact he's probably the nicest guy on the internet.

My account is recent but I’ve been checking this site for over ten years and can recognize most regulars so it’s sad to see a legend go. Hope Roger is doing great.

Absolutely gutted about Rog, the nicest person on this site.

Has anyone checked on him? I don't message people on PSN, but I know he's communicated with people that way over the years.

Hope he's doing okay.

I had actually checked Rog's account when the "PS5 Games You've recently Purchased" thread disappeared a few weeks back and noticed that all his threads and article comments had gone.

Didn't want to bring attention to it at the time as all his forum posts were still intact at the time.

Rog was such a pleasure and an utter delight to chat and post with. I hope he's doing alright wherever he is.

I’m not generally a PSN messager but I did reach out to Rog and I did I hear back from him; he expresses his thanks for the kind sentiments and apologizes if his departure has caused any inconvenience or concern. (Especially for @Ralizah for any adverse effect on the review thread.) He didn’t offer any other detail and I didn’t ask, but he did say he was sorry if his departure caused any worry.
You can find comfort in the fact that he seems to be the same wonderful gracious person he’s always been.

@colonelkilgore I thought I recognised the short and to the point movie reviews from @Malaise!
