@FuriousMachine Have a good one, I'll look in on your goodreads from time to time. I already grabbed some promising suggestions. I was ready to update my own but Cyberpunk got in the way.
These violent delights have violent ends & in their triumph die, like fire & powder Which, as they kiss, consume.
@FuriousMachine Orson Welles: the difficult, temperamental, egotistical genius??? At least Phil Collins is generally seen as a nice chap, if a bit big headed in the 80's (apparently) π
And anyway, it wasn't that it looked like Phil Collins. We know this. It was that it was composed like a Phil Collins album cover with a hint of Scandinavian death metal vibe. But I feel like we should all say Phil Collins a few more times though to really get it out of our systems
Anyway, less hectic is good! I was going to enquire whether you had been able to get any gaming time, and thus start Ghost of Yotei yet. But I'll leave that to you to enter the Yotei thread at your own pace if and when you do start it π and of course, the movie thread has missed your presence, Oh, Oracle. (Also, the New Witcher book has been out a while, did you grab an English translation version?)
@Ravix Not sure it was those people's personalities that were the traits being compared with my avatar picture, but if so, Collins would be a closer match, I think... I hope... (even though I could never be accused of being big headed in the 80's well... there was that period in the late eighties with the perm... that made my head somewhat big, quite literally...)
Not started Yotei yet. I made the mistake of starting Far Cry 5 a few weeks back, fully expecting to hate it as I did when I first tried it many moons ago, but once I lowered the difficulty and got into it, I've somewhat fallen in love with it. So will focus on completing that one first.
Not grabbed Witcher yet either, but that one is scheduled after finishing "The Autumn Springs Retirement Home Massacre", "All The Sinners Bleed" and "Never Flinch", so it will possibly be a Christmas read.
Things have calmed down enough for me to catch a few movies again, so I'll be back up in that thread with my unsolicited opinions on those soon, I think
Phil Collins, Phil Collins, Phil Collins - there, out of my system, at least
EDIT: S#it! He appeared behind me and started singing Sussudio!
Hello y'all, I have an announcement to make. This will be my final post on Push Square for the time being. As of today, I have beaten Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1+, which will be my last PS4 game for a while. I will be putting my PS4 into storage for at least a few years. Allow me to explain. When I first got my used PS4, I only got it to point the middle finger at Nintendo of America a little bit because they canceled a ton of American Switch releases for niche Japanese third party games like the Hyperdimension Neptunia games. The Hyperdimension Neptunia games, at least, are on PS4, so I got a PS4 to play them, as well as the spin-offs, and I absolutely love the games. But that whirring noise that the PS4 makes while I'm playing every single one except Super Neptunia RPG, really annoyed my parents and siblings, and, while not super annoying to me, does drag down the experience a bit. So, I am going to put the thing in storage until I finally get my own house (when I take it out again, I will be prepared for the whirring), which will most likely be sometime in the next decade, since it does take time to save up money for a house. Also, I will be playing more Neptunia games on Switch (and when I get it, Switch 2), including the mainline games, thanks to Playasia and Eastasiasoft.
Okay, time to wrap this up. Assuming that I don't die anytime in the next 10-15 years, and this site still exists at that time, I will be back, since I'll have my good ol' PS4 out again at that time, and I won't be deleting this account at all, especially since it's the same account I use for Nintendo Life, which I frequent way more than this site. And, when the next mainline Neptunia game is finally announced (supposed to happen this year), I'll probably check if there's an article about it on this site, and if there is, of course I'll comment (because I like Neptunia a lot). But other then that, I will not be showing up here until the time specified (10-15 years from now). Also, I'm not leaving because I'm upset at this site or the people here. As a matter of fact, I have massively enjoyed the three months that I've been on here, and, assuming everything goes as planned, I will be back eventually. Also, though I will not reply at all, I will make sure to read any replies I get for this post, since I will be notified of them via email. Thank you for having me, y'all!
And now, without further delay, I shall disappear... until we meet again...
@Nep-Nep-Freak Agreed, an excellent way to depart. It's a shame I haven't been around for your tenure, but I wish you well and good luck with your house adventure, it's a tough road though definitely a worthy one taking.
Take care π
Keep On Keeping On
(Formerly Agent Cooper, I have since donated the name to my cat)
@Nep-Nep-Freak 'twas nice seeing you around! Your enthusiasm for the Hyperdimension Neptunia games definitely came through in your posts, even if I'm unfamiliar with the series myself. Best of luck with everything and maybe I'll see you again in the future!

@Bundersvessel I was going to give you a warm welcome to the forum until I saw you're the reincarnation of Agent Cooper! In that case, a cold unwelcome to you. Just kidding. Welcome back! Glad to see you around these parts again.
