Despite a few misgivings I love both games not over 80% loveage but love the value and length of both titles. My question which few answer is is the remaster of Zero Dawn worth a punt if you've thrashed the original several times? Looking at videos it doesn't look a massive leap bit like PS4 vs PS5 Last Of Us Part Two, Also it's possible it'll drop on PS subs like most titles but even so is it time to give Alloy some more luvvin?

Is the upgrade worth it? Yes, I think so.

Everything certainly looks much better, and game runs smoother, especially during intense fights and crowded scenes. Watching someone else’s recording does not give you the same experience as replaying it for yourself.

I agree that it is essentially precisely the same game as before, but having played through the PS5 native version more than once, I certainly would not like to go back to the original PS4 version.

The graphics are not quite at the same quality level as Forbidden West, but it is pretty close.

Pretty darn close, I'd say. To the point where you'd need a side-by-side comparison to spot most of the differences. I'd argue they could have called it a "remake" rather than a remaster, it's that effective.

In case it wasn't clear, that puts me in the "yes, it's worth it" camp! Played the PS4 original twice before, but recently returned to the PS5 upgrade and had probably the best time of it. Definitely my favourite of the three playthroughs. The extra detail and control refinements do a great job.
