Lies of P (PS5)
$29.99/£24.99 (-50%)
Lies of P is one of the best Souls games not made by FromSoftware. Distinct in direction, tone, and style having leant into an evil take on the classic Pinocchio story, the journey through Krat is a memorable one thanks to solid combat, impressive customisation options, and unique art. If you've completed every FromSoftware experience multiple times over and you're looking for the next Souls-like hit, Lies of P is up there with the very best.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (PS5)
$17.99/£16.49 (-70%)
A thoroughly enjoyable side game that looks to offer familiar Like a Dragon action with a swashbuckling twist, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a flamboyant distraction between mainline entries. The story doesn’t compare favourably to the mainline entries and the new island areas quickly become repetitive, but the novelty of Goro Majima at the helm of a pirate ship never quite wears off. Stay for its frenzied action and jolly pirate ship battles and you’ll have a good time.
Lorelei and the Laser Eyes (PS5)
$12.49/£9.49 (-50%)
Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is a fascinating, surreal web of puzzles that feels great to unpick. You explore a mysterious hotel, with every room presenting you with locked doors and a host of environmental oddities to figure out. Presented in black and white (with the occasional streak of hot pink), this is a striking puzzle adventure that goes far deeper than you might expect.
Lumines Arise (PS5)
$31.99/£26.39 (-20%)
Like Tetris Effect before it, Lumines Arise reinvigorates a classic puzzle series with spectacular new visuals, a brilliant soundtrack, and imaginative extra features. Playable with or without PSVR2, this music-driven puzzler goes well beyond its core Journey mode, expanding the series with robust training missions, varied challenges, and better-than-ever multiplayer features.
Need for Speed Unbound (PS5)
$6.99/£6.99 (-90%)
Developer Criterion Games once again takes charge of EA's storied racing series with Need for Speed Unbound, and it's the best one in ages. The open world is decent, but it's the fun, satisfying driving that seals the deal, while some cartoonish flourishes really liven up its presentation. The push and pull of day and night events keeps the campaign charging forward, and deep customisation lets you create your dream rides. It's not perfect, but Unbound is a great effort that gets a lot of things right.
Neon White (PS5)
$12.49/£9.99 (-50%)
We can't think of many more unusual elevator pitches than Neon White's. A first-person platformer that's also a slightly horny visual novel, and you use guns represented by cards to kill enemies and enable special abilities? What? Amazingly, the whole thing hangs together far better than it sounds on paper. Speeding through each level, shaving off fractions of a second each time, is exhilarating and addictive, discarding weapons to double jump or blink forwards feels fantastic, and the visual novel side is a calming break from the action. It's a very different platformer, but a very good one.
Nobody Wants to Die (PS5)
$6.24/£4.99 (-75%)
Nobody Wants to Die is a thoroughly enjoyable sci-fi detective thriller. The gameplay during investigations can feel a little perfunctory, but the narrative unfolds at a brisk pace, and the developer makes smart use of visual trickery to convince you that the game is much bigger than it actually is, presenting you with unforgettable future cityscapes that are perpetually out of reach. It's all an illusion, but a beautiful one.
OlliOlli World (PS5)
$4.99/£4.24 (-75%)
OlliOlli World is the third entry in Roll7's side-scrolling skateboarding series, and it takes things in a brilliant new direction. The gameplay is about the same, tasking you with pulling off tricks with the left stick as you speed through each level. However, the addictive, score-chasing core that keeps you hooked is wrapped in new layers that make it far more appealing. A cel-shaded look is complemented by a chilled out soundtrack and an eclectic range of characters, making for far more pleasant presentation. Full customisation gives you much more control of your skater's look, and asynchronous multiplayer gives you a practically limitless supply of stages to master. A compulsive and fun-loving take on the extreme sport.
Paradise Killer (PS5)
$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)
If you're looking for something wildly different, Paradise Killer is a fantastic option. This game places you down on an open world island in order to solve the mystery surrounding a mass murder. The hook is that the end result is entirely of your making; you're free to explore, talk to suspects, and find evidence, with no hints other than your own discoveries. More than any other detective game, this one gives you total agency over the investigation and the trial that follows, with full responsibility for tracking down the truth resting with you. A fascinating, well-written game that oozes with style to boot — especially on PS5, where neat DualSense use and ray tracing bring the island alive.
Patapon 1+2 Replay (PS5)
$19.79/£16.49 (-34%)
Patapon 1+2 Replay brings together the first two titles in this cult hit series, and it's arguably the best way to play them. A combination of rhythm and real-time strategy that remains unique to this day, Patapon is a compulsive and satisfying blend. You'll never escape the music once you start, and with charming art and a huge amount to see and do, this is a very easy game to fall for.
Persona 3 Reload (PS5)
$23.99/£21.99 (-60%)
As far as faithful remakes go, Persona 3 Reload is right up there with the best you'll find on PlayStation. The original Persona 3 is an undeniable classic, but Reload greatly improves the experience by modernising its turn-based combat and expanding its storytelling. What's more, it's an utterly gorgeous revival, boasting incredible art direction and some of the most stunning presentation you're ever likely to see in an RPG. A must for existing fans, and for newcomers, a perfect introduction to the Dark Hour.
Resident Evil 3 (PS5)
$9.99/£8.74 (-75%)
A PS5 upgrade was never going to restore all of that cut content, but Resident Evil 3 on Sony's latest system is at least the best way to experience it. With extremely fast load times and impressive ray tracing support, this more action-focused entry shines with solid combat and fun environments. It's still far too short, but Resident Evil 3 is worth a playthrough for survival horror fans.
Rogue Legacy 2 (PS5)
$9.99/£7.99 (-60%)
If it's rogue-lites you're into, there are few better than Rogue Legacy 2. Building upon the already great original in basically every way, the sequel is vast in scope and executed brilliantly. Each attempt sees you begin with a new character, all of them with a unique build of strengths and weaknesses. Between runs, you'll upgrade the town, craft better armour, and gradually become stronger. It's incredibly moreish, with each run feeling different from the last, and the gameplay is responsive and rewarding.
Sea of Stars (PS5)
$20.99/£17.39 (-40%)
Set in the same universe as The Messenger, Sea of Stars is a similarly retro-styled title with some fresh twists. This is a turn-based RPG about a pair of warriors travelling the world as they warm up to their supernatural powers and thwart some evildoers along the way. The combat is strategic and rewarding to master, and there's a great cast of characters you'll love by the end, including the bad guys. Gorgeous presentation and a twisting story tie it all together.
Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (PS5)
$17.99/£14.99 (-40%)
Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is hard to fault. We can take or leave the story, the platforming is occasionally frustrating, and levels can outstay their welcome sometimes — but that's basically it. This is otherwise a brilliant 2D action platformer that looks gorgeous and plays even better thanks to kinetic, satisfying combat that feels superb when you get in the flow. If this is any indicator of SEGA's other upcoming franchise revivals, we're in for some good times ahead.
Silent Hill 2 (PS5)
$34.99/£29.99 (-50%)
Comfortably one of the greatest remakes around — especially when you narrow it down to the survival horror genre — Silent Hill 2 is a triumph of a resurrection from Bloober Team and Konami. The vast majority of the original PS2 masterpiece is faithfully brought back with modern visuals and gameplay design, and then expanded upon in all the right ways with bigger areas to explore and then new endings. Silent Hill 2 remains just as incredible as it did back in 2001 thanks to the delicate and appreciated work of Bloober Team.
Silent Hill F (PS5)
$34.99/£34.99 (-50%)
Silent Hill F takes the survival horror series in a new direction, which pays off for the most part. It’s quite different, and hardcore fans will have to accept that. Combat is a heavy focus, and the move to Japan means there’s a different kind of tone and atmosphere in the air. Technical problems aside, it marks a bold new chapter in the Silent Hill saga. Accept it for what it is, and you’ll find one of PS5’s most intense experiences.
Skate Story (PS5)
$13.99/£11.19 (-30%)
If you've ever thought skateboarding games have gotten a little stale, it's high time you play Skate Story. It takes you on an odyssey through the bowels of hell as you embark on a quest to eat the moon — while skateboarding. Delivered with unique, stylised visuals, a great soundtrack, and surprisingly grounded skating, it's a fresh take on the genre any fan should play.

What a pointless perk. Plus still no list.
Tempted with hell is us heard good things about it. Also after playing resi requiem, i played the 2nd remaster last weekend so might pick 3rd up for that price.
Cool been waiting for Forza Horizon 5 to drop £2 cheaper than last month I'm told you don't need to be online to play it GT7 Does not give you this choice.
Gears of War is a canonical game I‘ve never played. But do I really want to invest money and time to finally play it? I don’t know.
Shinobi is a great game. Recently finished it and really enjoyed it. As mentioned above the story is a bit meh but the gameplay is great
Still the nonsense Amazon links (I thought this was about a PS Store sale...?) and dividing the whole thing up in pages instead of giving a quick overview of the titles that are included. You're simply ignoring the repeated feedback of your visitors?
So… The Resident Evil 3 platinum is unevitable at this price.
@Darude84 I'm with you, but I think they really need to clicks to stay afloat.
@Daleaf Hell is Us is a bit marmite.
Has a lot of "fake difficulty" that wastes your time and frustrates. E.g. most reviews will tell you how they wrote stuff down in a note book, when other games just add what you discover to a codex or place a map marker for easy reference.
I learned to write when I was 3 or 4 years old, so being able to write stuff on a piece of paper does not make me an L337 gamer. It just wastes my time.
It does have a bit of a Souls vibe albeit far easier.
At £20 it's worth a punt but you might bounce off pretty quickly. I reckon it would be a good game to just play whilst following a guide otherwise you will miss a lot of stuff, get stuck and give up.
@Dogbreath yea played a few hrs of it but got a cold so not sure if im in mood for it at moment, seems like a food game but will get back to it when im in a better mood. Still not sure if its for me but on sale so not too bad if i fall of it.
Nothing out of those that I want or don't already have. Possibly Mass Effect Legendary Edition, but it's not really much of a sale on that either when it's been $5.99 pretty much every month for a year anyway.
Luckily for me my work gave me a £200 playstation gift card for being with them for 10 years lol. I might pick up Atomfall and Hell is Us, then spend the rest on 12 months of premium.
Booo. I say to your terrible pun. Going 'cheap' indeed.
Still waiting for the games I'm interested in to hit the magical 50% off.
25% - 35% ain't enough of a discount.
Dead Space info appears below 13 Sentinels without a header but appears properly later in the article.
Loads on my wishlist here. Doom Dark Ages for £23 is calling to me. As is Shadow Gambit for 8 quid.
@Max_the_German i didn't enjoy it tbh; bought on launch. gameplay felt so simplistic and dated. graphics also a bit bad.
Tainted Grail, Avowed, and Oblivion Remastered are all on sale... I'm in the mood to play one of those but undecided on which one.
@HaveTheSauce Thanks!
@MKD88 Tainted Grail is spectacular!
Having said that, I've only played it on the Steam Deck, and I've heard it runs a little ruff on PS5- maybe the latest patch fixed it.
Avowed isn't bad, really shallow and generic though- Outerworlds 1 with magic
@CallMeDuraSouka Thanks, I did some more research and definitely seems like a game I would love. Love games with good atmosphere. I ended up picking it up. I'm on the Pro so hopefully it performs better than the standard PS5.
@Max_the_German GoW has dated quite poorly for me. I had it on the 360 at launch and it was great; but this remaster wasn't that fun tbh and I gave up after a couple hours. 2 & 3 were way better so I don't know why they didn't package those in too.
@MKD88 Tainted Grails atmosphere is really really good.
Hope you enjoy it!
For a Unity Engine game worth only 30 or so Devs it's impressive
@Quintumply The Dead Space info got included twice (look right after 13 Sentinels).
@lacerz That should be fixed now, thanks
