Another anti-gravity racer has appeared on the starting line. Indie dev Cybernetic Walrus (we swear these names get weirder every week) is working on a title named Antigraviator, which basically looks like WipEout with adaptable ships. Apparently, it aims to be the fastest racer on the market. Someone hook up some speed cameras!
Antigraviator is coming to PlayStation 4 at some point in 2018. It looks pretty slick in the trailer that we've embedded above, so we're looking forward to hearing more.
What do you reckon? Avoid walls at all costs in the comments section below.

Looks rather nice! Glad to see some more arcadey, futuristic racers being developed. Just need Grip to get a PS4 release date now! And I'd love an old school 90s style racer as well.
Looks pretty cool, I’ll definitely keep an eye on it
Generic tracks at the speed of sound.
Looks great! Bet it'll be nuts on a Pro.
I want f-zero. Miss those tunes.
Looks very much like FAST Racing Neo. Unfortunately, while many futuristic racers exist, F-Zero X and GX are the only ones that I like the feel of.
Wipeout Omega Collection was my biggest disappointment of the year. I allowed my hopes to get up and squandered 40 bucks on the digital copy. It looked amazing but it just feels off to me.
@sketchturner : Yeah I've never liked Wipeout's control model either. I quite liked FAST - I think it was close to F-Zero - but I feel like the polarity switching just clunked up something that would be better served if it was just focused. Been meaning to check out Red:Out, as that one looks really cool, but 2017's been brutal so I just couldn't find a window to purchase it and test it out myself.
This is coming up, and Velez & Dubail's super-promising looking RISE: Race the Future.... sometime in the next couple years (they're a 3 man studio, and sadly one of them died; no one knows how long it's going to take for them to get back on their feet), so hopefully someone will nail it. It's not quite the PS2 days with stuff like eXtreme G, Kinectica, PowerDrome and way more just all sort of existing as their own massive b-league under the big dogs like F-Zero, Wipeout, and Star Wars Racer, but there's a decent amount of indies keeping these high speed racers going. Only a matter of time til one nails it.
So is it "antiGRAViator", or "antiGRAVYator"? xD
In the voice of Homer Simpson: Mmm... Plagiarism.
@sketchturner I couldn't disagree more. WipEout feels like actually racing a ship, whereas F-Zero is racing super fast but with no real momentum/inertia — it's very "videogamey". Nothing wrong with that, but not my thing. Imo, the WipEout collection is awesome. I particularly love 2048, the Vita port; some of those track designs are epic.
@ShiggleMan Pretty much every one of those other futuristic racers you mentioned is of no interest to me after having played WipEout. I've tried them. Nothing compares imo.
If WipEout Omega Collection wasn't a thing I'd be all over this.
@ShiggleMan Ive just noticed RedOut on sale for £13.85 and remembered your comment a couple of days ago ! Base.com
