BioWare has detailed Mass Effect: Andromeda's next patch. Update 1.08 doesn't contain the biggest list of fixes that we've ever seen, but there may be a few points of interest for those still playing the game.
The headline here is that the patch allows for Angaran squadmate Jaal to be romanced by male Ryder. Previously, Jaal was only a romance option for female Ryder, so the developer's fulfilled its promise of expanding upon male Ryder's potential love interests.
The other most prominent change comes in the form of better character creation tools. We're not sure how far this additional stuff goes, but again, BioWare said that it was going to build upon the existing system, and it looks like it has done. Hopefully character creation isn't quite so limited now.
Anyway, you can find the full patch notes below.

I really like Jaal but I have no desire to see him naked.
I was going to wait on DLC before my second playthrough but since EA killed the series I'm guessing there won't be any?
@Splat All depends on whether BioWare was already working on the DLC/how far they'd gotten with it. Wouldn't be surprised if DLC plans had been scaled down following the game's release, but at the same time, EA might think it's worth it just to get some extra cash in from fans who want more.
How far Bioware has fallen... This whole mess is beyond depressing. Hopefully they take what they learned from this experience and apply it to the next Mass Effect game, so that it'll be the game that the fans, and Mass Effect, deserves.
Yes, this is what the game truly needed.
I don't want to have sex with knuckles
They created one of the most interesting universes on gaming, and then killed. =/
Cringe
I remember when bad games were forgotten about pretty quickly. Nowadays the smell lingers. I can smell it now. Or maybe that's a fart. Who knows.
When does the Ali G patch come in making everyone try-sexual?
Jaal Jaal's kinks.
It's clear that they are trying to appeal to the only public they have. The sjw.
A patch to make a character bisexual, this looks like the last thing to be concerned in this game.
