The price has gone up in North America, but few could be disappointed with September 2016's selection of free PlayStation Plus games. Between the excellent Journey and the agreeable Lords of the Fallen, the PlayStation 4 alone played host to two really worthwhile downloads last time out. But now it's time to starting thinking about October's offering.

We're expecting Sony to announce the lineup next week, ahead of a 4th October roll-out. New titles on that day include attractive stealth title Aragami, funky shooter Laser Disco Defenders, and the long overdue Shu (not to be confused with Yoshida) – all of which seem like reasonable fits. There's also Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide due out on the same day, but that seems less likely.

Of course, the Japanese giant's seen plenty of success by delving into its archives of late, so maybe we'll get something like Killzone: Shadow Fall at last. Or, with Gravity Rush Remastered being available for free in Japan, it could plump up for that in the West – it's certainly the best advertisement imaginable for the upcoming Gravity Rush 2.

But what do you want? Ponder your dream picks for a minute or two, and then share your selections in the comments section below.
