Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare may have felt the full wrath of YouTube's deadly dislike button, but we're really starting to like the look of this game. Activision has uploaded the first ten or so minutes of Infinity Ward's new first-person shooter online, which opens with a ground-based battle, before blasting off into the stars.
There's none of the crazy anti-gravity gameplay that we saw at E3 2016 because this is still early in the campaign, but we're liking the colour palette that the developer's using, and we reckon that this looks like an entertaining opening to say the least. Has this sequel won you over yet – or are you still being a negative nancy?

Fun!
Actually looks pretty good!
I've never bought a CoD and I'm now getting tempted. Doom got my excited for 1st person campaigns, something I've rarely given a chance. Always enjoyed playing at/with friends, but really much more into single player campaigns now so the idea of finally playing MW and this genuinely looking good may get a buy from me.
cod just doesn't do anything for me anymore and i genuinely felt bored watching that.
the only part i felt was good in this game was the space battle but it would only be good under VR so who knows if they will add that. then again, with eve valkyrie coming out i think id give this a miss still.
It looked like a lot of other CoD's initially in terms if game play but I do feel they were very careful with their movement through this section - no jumping,no unusual movements (sliding for example), just moving 'carefully' to avoid doing anything like this. Not that I mind as I enjoy the fast paced and fun BO3 movement.
Its not until they get in the Jackal that things 'change' for CoD with the free flowing dogfighting combat that brings.
I have had my Legacy Pro edition pre-ordered since it was announced. The more I see of the campaign, the more I feel right to give them the benefit of the doubt rather than jump on the 'hate' bandwagon like a mindless sheep.
This game looks better with every video and their section in E3 was great. I've changed my mind I want to get this game they've won me over.
Already pre-ordered a while back. I get the same vibe about this as I did when Modern Warfare was announced, think it'll do the COD franchise the world of good.
It's also interesting to note that with 'hub-based' gameplay and side missions available from said hub, the game could eventually morph into another Destiny, with 2-16 player raids being added as DLC later on, though that's just wishful thinking on my part.
No, give me the locked out game. Scummy fecks.
I'm not huge into the multiplayer side of shooters, so it's great that this campaign looks so good based on what we've seen.
Will rent this since I've played every CoD that's ever released but would definitely buy CoD MW Remastered, if it ever gets a standalone release.
That boots on the ground title made my eyes pop and I clicked the article right away only to read it, be disappointed and say that's what I thought. I really hope that low sales or enough fan outcry will have them release mw4 separately at some point after infinites release.
Those first couple or minutes running out of the crater reminded me of Resistance Fall of Man. Insomniac should pull their finger out and issue the entire damn collection for the PS4.
I am more interested in the MW Remaster then IW honestly. Black Ops 3 has burnt me out on all the moon jumping and such.
I don't understand the negativity. As a non-CoD fan, this is the first entry in the series that's ever interested me and I might actually buy it.
Is the game in slowmotion or os it me? Looks cool BTW.
very good and the multiplayer in the space it's pretty fun also.
Is the main protagonist a male or female. Or is it like mass effect where you choose your gender?
This game's colour palette doesn't seem very different from any other Call of Duty. It mostly seems to be featuring greys, accented by blue and orange, basically the most generic and overused contrast in media today.
