Pass the Mini Eggs, because the Easter weekend is hare-ly underway – and we've still plenty of yolks left. Look, we know that you've probably had un oeuf of our Easter puns, but don't be a rotten egg and make us stop. Sunny side thinkin' – that's the spirit!

You're not going to believe this, but despite the ill-wishes of my backlog, I'm replaying Bully now that it's out on the PlayStation 4. I'm not going to lie, the controls are driving me mad – but that's true of all Rockstar releases. The good news is that the satire is still as sharp as ever – it's a classic.

Over Easter I'll be reminiscing about what it's like to be fifteen as I go on a major nostalgia trip with Day of the Tentacle Remastered. Oh, and of course Smite, Smite, and more Smite.

I'll be taking a light break from video games to reflect on this special weekend, but I'm plenty content that I played SOMA a couple days ago, which – despite being mired by performance issues – contains one of the deepest narratives I've experienced since The Last of Us. If I do take up something, though, I'll be sure to keep moving forward in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance or The Division.

I'll be spending Good Fry-day and beyond eggs-ercising my thumbs on EA Sports UFC 2, advancing the career of my novice fighter, and trying not to whisk injury with my egg-stravagant fighting style. I've also hatched a plan to play some more Just Cause 3 and Rocket League, and perhaps some Broforce – it's a cracking game, after all. I'm ova doing this, aren't I? [Never – Ed]

My time this Easter weekend will be split equally between playing video games and eating a healthy (unhealthy) amount of chocolate. On the gaming side, I've still got plenty of Gravity Rush Remastered to get through, and I may just do a few laps in DriveClub to pay tribute to Evolution Studios. On the egg side, fingers crossed for a Lindt one.

So this Easter weekend I am going old school. I recently bought a Retron, so I will be NESing it up with Ducktales, Battletoads, and a few other classics.
Alright, then – put the chocolate down for a second and tap out your Easter gaming plans in the comments section below.

Looking to start sniper elite 3, which I picked up in the easter sale. Not sure I'll get much time for anything else.

So no gaming for me. But when i get back I'll be playing the dishonored definitive edition (was a tenner in psn sale ) and also gonna finish black ops 3 so I can trade it in also eating as much chocolate as possible...
I'm going back to the lovely world of The Evil Within for a New Game +.
I finished Uncharted 3 yesterday, and I'm going to start with Unravel today. Maybe I'll start The Last of Us, but I really want to play some more Pokkén as well.
Staying with friends for most of the weekend but when I get back I have a beef to pick with The Rotten in Dark Souls 2 SOTFS and I'm also slowly working my way through Wolfenstien the new order.
I'm playing my absolute total playthrough of The Witcher 3 in preparation for Blood and Wine. I'm going to complete every single '?' without fast traveling.

The wife will be playing Witcher 3 and her sisters coming around to play her copy of Fallout 4 , hard working ps4.
honestly, i'm not playing any video games over this weekend although i am babysitting my niece and nephew while my brother is at work (not everyone gets Easter off you know) and teaching them how to play the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game #TimeWellSpent ^_^
@MinerWilly What a gaming family you have! I just have my puppy chowing the Wii board silicone cover; not very professional gaming, but still fun to watch.
Just gonna be playing battlefront. I'm saving all my money for April's release of ratchet and clank!
Playing The Division & going to try out Smite.
Uncharted 2 - the last remaining collectibles
Witcher 3 - Will I manage to put it on?
One Piece Pirates - Main game is done, Dream world it is
Chapter 4 & 5 of Life is Strange for me! Enjoying it so far...
@ApostateMage That sounds like quite literally an "epic" play through
I'll be playing through Driveclub having picked it up in the Easter sale and also Salt and Sanctuary might dip back into Bloodbourne to go for the platform, I'm only 1 trophy away but its the Queen Yarnham one might also get some Broforce in with some fellow push squarers
I'll be trying to level up in The Division and sweep up a bunch of story missions. Other than that, I might try to play some Wii U, likely Twilight Princess HD.
My wife and I are hosting Easter so I get to stay home. So I'll probably continue working on One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 and may try to knock out a few special attacks on DBX.
PS4 - Bloodborne
XOne - Gears of War Ultimate
PC - The Wolf Amoung Us
Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest (90%)
Mini Mario Amiibo Challenge (10%)
Fire Emblem Conquest is such an amazing game. Possibly my new favorite game of all time (eh, Idk though- Metroid Prime 2 and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate are both saying hello). Idk, it's close enough.
Bought a crap ton of games off PSN, but, they're on the back burner for now. This entire year is spoken for already. From Fire Emblem Fates to Star Fox Zero, to Uncharted 4 to Monster Hunter Generations, to Star Ocean V to Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, to Final Fantasy XV to Persona 5, to the Legend of Zelda U/NX
A lot of Splatoon and may finish Kirby Triple DX. My bro is playing Ethan Carter and I will be continuing Devastation.
Seeing family so PS4 is out but some sneaky Little Big Planet on Vita. Maybe some Assassins Creed liberation.
@Reverandjames
Wow, what's up with it...the dodgy framerate? Was thinking of getting it, but held back. Playing Dishonoured Definitive Edition on PS4....awesome game....love it....
Well I just finished and platinumed Saints Row 4: Reelected Edition and its two DLC packs. Now I’m on to the Gat Outta Hell standalone expansion. Fun times.
This weekend I'm going to be playing Uncharted 2 on PS4, might play some guilty gear xrd as well. On 3ds I might play some Hyrule Warriors if I have the time.
Put a lot of hours into Wasteland 2 so far this weekend. Great game.
@GraveLordXD
My brother is a Dark Souls/Bloodborne fanatic. And he swears by Salt and Sanctuary, that it's a 10/10 masterpiece. I bought it on his recommendation but, no time. Have Dark Souls 3 preordered too, but again, priorities. Still never got more than an hour or 2 into DS2.
Ya know, everyone seems so surprised when I say I loved Metroid Prime 2: Echoes the most out of all 3. But I did- I absolutely loved the level design of that game- not just the Light and Dark Aether but the actual environmental layout. It was so masterfully crafted. And the boss fights, oh my goodness. Quadraxis will forever live on as the greatest boss fight of all time. The end game boss? Hardest boss fight of any video game I've ever played. Ever. I loved the original dang near just as much, but Prime 2 was more eerie... more isolated. A little creepy even. I loved that.
And whenever you get around to Fates, you'll LOVE it. Man, that map design is easily the best in the entire series- it's not even a competition. And don't listen to the fanatics who claim the story is garbage and all that jazz. It's actually really good. Well, Birthright us a little bland, but the last few chapters are so insanely good it redeems itself entirely. Such an emotionally impactful climax. Conquest has so far been VERY good, but I can't speak to the ending just yet.
this weekend on ps4 ill be on black ops 3, battlefront and advanced warfare...
on xbone ill be finishing up unravel, playing halo 5, plants v zombies GW2 and lego dimesions.....oh and Disney infinity on both consoles!!
I have the Liverpool Lurgy (no really! It's a thing!) So I'm mostly playing the sympathy card so my girlfriend will keep the cups of tea coming. Other than that I really want to drag myself out of bed to play salt and sanctuary, but it's easier said than done.
@GraveLordXD
Some people reserve 10 for only the most enduring games of all time. Me? I give 10/10 to a number of games. Not willy nilly, but I could name quite a few. Basically, I don't believe in a perfect game. No such thing. But, I do believe a game can be as reasonably perfect as you can expect. Also, I factor in sheer entertainment value. Like Fire Emblem Fates, Metroid Prime or Rise of the Tomb Raider... I'd give all those games a 10. Because all of them are so incredibly fun, I can't think of any other rival games of their respective genres that are better.
@Reverandjames
Good to hear an honest opinion on it, from other reviews, it looked great, but the mention of the explosions causing framerate dips is alarming as the game is explosions... Thanks dude....
