New Tearaway Trailer Takes a Tantalising Trip to Sogport

Media Molecule would like to introduce you to the sodden scenery of Sogport, one of the many environments that you’ll explore during your time with the upcoming PlayStation Vita exclusive, Tearaway. “Sogport is a mysterious island marooned in a deep sea of glue, and inhabited by some very fishy folk with a fearful obsession with the island’s monstrous local wildlife,” community manager James Spafford explained on the PlayStation Blog. You can check out the destination courtesy of the trailer embedded below.

In addition to the new location, the studio has also announced a new character named atoi. You’ll be able to select the female variation of main protagonist iota when you launch the game, as well as customise the “shape, size, and colour of your god-like fingers”. As demonstrated in the new footage, using the rear touch pad to interact with the world is a pivotal part of the whimsical adventure’s gameplay. Speaking of which, are you looking forward to getting your fingertips on the impending release? Let us know in the comments section below.

Lots of really good stuff for the Vita this year and it's great to see some developers putting their 'A' teams to work on the system.
