Anyone else come across the above story (that 'civ rev 2 plus' has been rated for the vita)? Personally I think this would be a great fit for the vita given the general lack of strategy games on the system. I would certainly consider purchasing it (Im not sure if it's F2P on android/ios atm but assume it would cost a small fee on vita)!

Unsure how well it would work on the small screen. Civ 3 for me was a total time sink probably my favourite pc game alongside rollercoaster tycoon and the original unreal tournament. Just unsure if it can work as the busy work and city icons will be diddy.

Hmm. Interesting story. Would be absolutely awesome, but I can't see it myself. That said, I'll probably get a story up on this, as PEGI's not in the habit of rating games that don't exist.
Ya seen that the trophy list for this game had been published recently, wonder when will come out though? Maybe they'll announce it at Paris Games Week or even PSX though that seems a bit late. Still with this and seemingly Xcom: Enemy Unknown coming to Vita, it's good to know the Vita still getting some love, these strategy games would be a great fit on the console
It is out in Japan, I think Famitsu gave it decent scores.....it was supposed to comes out the week of PS Experience........so yeah, maybe Sony was worried about it getting buried by Bastion and Nuclear Throne (and that music concert game).
It seems like Sony has struck some kind of deal with 2K and Square Enix to port over a few of there mobile titles to Vita.......so I'm sure they want to please those companies instead of sending them out to die.
I was going to download this weekend ahead of some business travelling next week. Sometime later this year doesn't sound too convincing. I mean, they moved it by a month and a half in Dec so they must have been confident it would be ready in time.
