Topic: Talk me into buying Far Cry 4

I tried the 3rd game and I didn't love it, but a lot of people are comparing the new one to skyrim and I loved skyrim. How is the plot? Does it get harder as it goes on? How many hours have you gotten out of it so far? Describe the gameplay. Thanks.

Farcry 3 with a hard on. Pretty much sums it up.

It's a great game. It is a pretty huge world and it's just fun running around doing, well, whatever. Once you get the wingsuit it's even more fun. The game gets harder as it goes on, as most games should. You can change the difficulty but I found the regular setting just fine and I actually prefer playing on hard. I probably put 60 hours into the game and I didn't even do everything. It does get a bit repetitive in certain areas because you have to capture towers and collect stuff.. but it's not that bad. It didn't bother me. I was really surprised by this game as I never had interest in FC3 and got this one kind of on a whim. The PVP was actually really fun, too. Problem is it takes forever to find a room; not sure if this is because there is a lack of people playing or just bad servers.

Buy dragon age inquisition instead.

Just to add to this um... The plot, some enemies, some minor additions (weapons, helicopters) and some other changes i haven't noticed are the only differences. Other than that it is like what he said.

Just feels like what a Rambo game should be.

If you didn't like Far Cry 3 you'll not like Far Cry 4 as it's more of the same really.

Not to be rude, but if someone has to talk you into a game then you probably aren't interested in it to begin with.

i just got the 9 AJM beast, love far cry 4, put 25 hours into it and only 34% complete
