Topic: Dreaming about Dreams.

I am super hyped for this game too. I am creative but I need easy tools because I give up easily, so seeing how flexible the game is opens up tons of possibilities.
My dream >> create an easy platforming level for my friends to play, where i recreate and reference funny instances that happened to us. Like for example getting stuck in a room filled with funny references to our exes, recreating roadtrips we had, stuff like that. It's there in my head, hope that with dreams it can become real.

@themcnoisy Time permitting I'd definitely be up for a community project. This might be incentive enough for me to 'get good' at the creation tools.
At the very least I'd be up for playing whatever the PushSquare community comes up with.

@Kyroki Despite the bajillion squillion planets of NMS, I think Dreams will have longer legs in the streaming space. Watching people create will be really interesting, but that's only one strand of the game - there will also be a story to play through, as well as countless player-made games to play, movies to watch, etc. You could watch a dozen Dreams streamers at the same time and they'd all be doing something totally different.

And I haven't even mentioned how interactive it will be! Getting suggestions from viewers and making the creation theirs as much as yours. This game is perfect for streaming, I think

@Kyroki Yes, there are three stories in the single-player campaign, it will be entirely made with the tools available in Dreams. Even the single-player campaign has potential to tell an amazing narrative, portraying the dreams and nightmares of a character, the possibilities are huge. Probably it will be a really cool tutorial for players too, explaining how you can create dreams, games, videos, etc.

@Quintumply Would be really cool if someone creates a brand new game of Spyro.

To be honest, I wasn't really big into the level creation in the Little Big Planet series. I think it's a great level editor, don't get me wrong, but it's a bit too complicated for me. However, Dreams' level editor looks kind of complicated as well, but for some reason I feel like I could pour hours and hours into it.

The game is looking good! It's amazing to see what people can create in a short amount of time.

@Octane That's incredible. I want try to create a 3D platformer, or at least play the amazing creations of the community.

I’m getting on board with this now. I can imagine some real quality games being made by the community here. Lots of trash and mediocre stuff too, but a few might go above and beyond. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony hired a few people after seeing the games they made, cementing quality of their first party even more.

@Jaz007 Happened with LittleBigPlanet. Quite a few Media Molecule employees were hired because of their creations in LBP.

@themcnoisy @PS_Nation @Fight_Teza_Fight I like it - moderate too hard, you get complaints, go easy you get complaints. You get the occasional spam attack as well, a bit like Godzilla in Sim City.
