Topic: Amazon PS4 preorder question

So I currently have a PS4 KZ Shadowfall bundle preordered, but since Amazon (US) doesn't charge anything until it ships, I'm not sure if I'll have the proper amount of money when it does arrive.

So what does happen if I don't have the right amount? I'd expect them to not ship it and they'll probably cancel the order, but I can't seem to find any info about it.

Irken, how much do you need to pay the right amount? Maybe ask people I can lend some dollars if needed:) ^^ Im living in Europe so i hope it's not to difficult:)

( Maybe paypal or something)

Btw sorry i didnt answer your question..

^According to these guys at least, it will cancel your order if you don't have enough money. Of course, if you're paying with a debit card, then depending on how you've got it set up, your bank might charge an overcharge fee, and they might take money from your savings into your checking if there is enough there. I know that happened to me once. I don't know what happens if you don't have enough in your savings either.

Yeah I just got switched over from a student account (with no overcharges) to a regular one so I have to check that too. I did use my debit card. I may be close once I get these last few paychecks before I leave for my trip (the main cause of my dilemma haha).

If anything, I'll have enough like a week or two after the release, but might be tricky to find one.

Can you apply for a Amazon Store Card?

Then try changing your payment method or contact support to change it for you.

I probably could, but I don't really want to do that for just one pricey item, I rarely buy anything that expensive from the site The system ships (and thus charges) while I'm away on my trip, so if I lack the funds by then I'll just cancel.

It really depends on how you have your card set up with your bank or CC company.  I know that if you are not careful and dont have the money in your account your bank will cover the charge but will hit you with a big fee that happened to me one time.  However if you have it set up where they wont pull if you don't have enough Amazon will just cancel  the order.

Ok so I ended up getting paid today, and I have 3 paychecks left until its release (working 2 jobs with a check every week, it's nice ;D) so as long as those checks are decent I should have enough saved up

I'm also curious when you guys think they'll ship it. I have "2-day shipping" which is release day delivery. So they may ship (and thus charge my card) on the 13th?

And only $50 away from securing enough funds!

Tasuki

Yeah I have dealt with Amazon's release day delivery so yeah they will charge  your card before the 15th so that way they can ship it and you can get it by the 15th.
