@onewontdo Judging by the quality and scale of PS5 games compared to PS4 games, the price jump seems more like greed than a necessity to make money back. The PS5 is basically the PS4 at this point. Accepting a $10 increase now means accepting a $10 increase later, and again later. Eventually we’ll be paying $100 for a game, not because it costs more to make, but because companies want to increase the profit margin.
@wildcat_kickz BLM isn't trying to say "Black Lives (Also) Matter," and the proof is that when you tell them that ALL lives matter, they start looting stores and shooting each other.
These companies don't actually care. They're just trying to find ways to increase their consumers. Why are people falling for this crap?
Also, coroner's report said George Floyd died of a heart attack due to TWO different hear diseases combined with all the drugs in his system. He was stressed and died. It was unfortunate, but no murder happened.
If a game with these graphics is anything more than $5, they’re nuts. People bought PS4s in HUGE part for the graphical upgrade, same reason they’ll buy a PS5, not because they wanted to play Super Nintendo. The PS5 better not come out with all these 16-bit games too. Keep that stuff for PC, or at least under $5.
That being said, it looks like it could be fun. Just...what is this, 1995?
We spent $400 on a PS4, it gives us game after game of “throwback” graphics, and it doesn’t last a full 10 years before they start asking us to spend money on a PS5.
Kids today are so incredibly stupid. They need free games to prevent them from risking catching a plague?? THAT’S what they care about?? It’s okay to stay home and play what you have. Heaven forbid you get a little bored. Read a book or two, people, come on.
@DonJorginho It might not be purely about money, but unless they give us Parts 2 and 3 for free, it is at least partly about the money. One incomplete game (Part 1) should not cost the price of a full game. They’re conning you if you plan on paying $180 for one game in 3 parts.
If money has nothing to do with the decision, then surely they won’t be charging for Parts 2 and 3, right? Part 1 will come with a redemption code for getting Parts 2 and 3 for free, and they’ll only charge the price of one game ($60) for Part 1 since, after all, it is only one game, and it’s not about the money. Right?

It’s not a “price point.” It’s a price.

How can you expect civility online in an era when the left encourages physically assaulting strangers they disagree with?
Re: PS5 Is Gorgeous in Person, There Are Surprising Features
It looks like one of the hundreds of hideous concept designs that have been on Google Images for years. Super super disappointed.

-1 for article title with the word “and” followed by an opinion. Awful headline-writing. What is this, Buzzfeed?
