I would like to hope that this comment thread will not turn as hateful as some other sites that I have visited. There are too many people criticizing Sony and Naughty Dog at the moment for making Ellie gay.

Claiming that they are just pandering to sjw's to make a sale. It's kind of disheartening to see that the world can still be such a toxic place.

That being said I am super pumped about The last of us 2 and a characters sexuality, gender etc has no impact on whether or not I buy a game.

Honestly in my opinion they guys at ubisoft are too subdued. I think they actually suffered a bit because of this.

Their conferences in years past probably would have had the same issue but they made up for it with Aisha Tyler's energy and enthusiasm.

That being said... I am excited for AC. Origins and Far Cry 5. The Mario rabbids game looks good as well.

Everything else was kinda meh...

I am not okay with this. Hitman was one of my favorite games of last year and is one of my favorite franchises. Hopefully the franchise stays with IO and does not wind up staying with Square Enix. I don't trust them to do right by the series if they keep it.
