@Frmknst Surely those people paying 50 will now get more for their money, and those premium editions will get something extra too? How is this in any way a bad thing? Nowhere in that statement did they say they putting the price up for the standard edition.
Personally I don't see a need. PS5 Pro is more than enough for me. It feels like in some ways this gen hasn't really even arrived yet. The PS4 had such a strong showing by comparison. So many remasters, remakes and mildly improved PS4 games.
Of course this won't stop them making it, but I might not be an early adopter this time around.
@Ricky-Spanish If all people care about are trophies and not the actual game then logically, sure. But the originals and the remakes are nowhere near the same games, so the point i am making is that the trophy hunting experience (hypothetically) wouldn't be anywhere near the same because of the difference in content and gameplay. 💁♂️
@Ricky-Spanish The remakes are nothing like the originals, neither in presentation, gameplay or scope. The remakes (while technically superior) feel super hollow and cut so much content. Not bothered about trophies at all, but to say that people should play the remasters/remakes is missing the point.
Glad he's getting back to things at ND, looking forward to seeing more from Intergalactic and whatever the second project he's working on is.
I really enjoyed The Last of Us tv show and Neil's episodes were some of the best of each season. I get that people were disappointed with the show in some aspects, but it was never going to be as good as the games, it couldn't!
@SBBuds The amount of times that GTA5 has been re-released, patched, prodded and paraded across three generations of consoles, and yet it is still consistently in the top selling games. If there's a game that 'anyone who wants to play it has played it already', Red Dead 2 isn't it. I get that people buy GTA for the multiplayer (for some reason...) but i imagine a lot of people, like myself, held off due to the constant rumours of a PS5 version, and will be eager to play it with better framerates if nothing else.
I think people are just a bit starved for gaming news of this kind of scale. Geoff has always grated on me, but I welcome a show like this that brings the industry together like E3 used to.
@Oram77 A retry option would be great. So much can hinge on a perfectly timed parry at the start of the battle and having to restart from the last save can mean some very boring treks back to the battle.

Hopefully you feel suitably well fed now?
